  as many know, some of us are meeting in dallas in a week or so.

  where did all our spiritual gurus go to?.

  i haven't seen any radical oddballs, normal oddballs, non oddball bible people lately.

  i'm lonely.....and theres been very few ...if any.... and there been no one to argue with and get mad at......what's the deal.

  we texas apostates just aren't used to this kind of weather!

  it's 21 degrees and getting colder.... there is snow and sleet and freezing rain... the roads are alll frozen over with ice and people are sliding all over the place.

  Keep us posted on the weather. Sure hope it gets a little warmer and the snow, ice, and sleet stop. Don't want any of us flying into Dallas for the International Apostafest to have any problems!!!

  now that you aren't making 5 meetings per week and going out in field service and doing all that personal study, what occupies your time?

  does your life give you a sense of fulfillment?

  Don't want to write a LONG reply. Just thought I'd let you know that I stay very busy and I REALLY enjoy my life now!!!! There's so much more time to enjoy life, to reflect on all that has been given, and appreciate all those special people in my life who take an active part in it.

  i have been reading the book, "the power of positive thinking" by norman vincent peale.

  he is/was a christian minister, but his thoughts on god are somewhat different than what i thought a minister's thoughts would be.

  in the second last chapter he expresses an interesting viewpoint.

  Interesting post! I used to think that I had ALL of the answers. Puleeze!!!! I definitely don't feel that way now that I'm not a JW anymore. I think there are A LOT of things that we don't know and won't know until we pass on. Lots of things are possible and investigating them is very interesting.

  amen, probably the most relieving word for a witness!

  remember how those meetings went on and on and on and then you get that brother who loves to turn his prayer into the "sermon on the podium".

  yes delivering words as if they were being channeled through jehovah right to you!.
