something has been bugging me for ages about the non-participation of r&f jws in the memorial meal (sounds like a mcdonalds deal) !.

i've just worked out what it is.... only the "anointed" can partake of the emblems.. but at the original meal, as instituted by jesus, no one was anointed.

the anointing came at pentecost, after he had died !.

To my knowledge the only one present at the first memorial were the orignal 12 minus one (Judas). So I can understand why they do not allow everyone to partake. If you were not called you should not partake. It's as simple as that.

Those who partake are called by God. They are Anointed by Jehovah's spirit. The Apostles were called by God through his son Jesus Christ. Jesus who was anointed by God personally chose the twelve to be his Apostles and heirs to the throne of Heaven. The others were chosen by God and Jesus from Heaven by means of the Holy Spirit. Paul was directly chosen by Jesus to become a heir to the throne of Heaven. He did not participate in the pouring out of the Holy Spirit on the congregation at that time.

John 15:14-17, John 17:6-10

So in conclusion only those called by God and Jesus are allowed to partake of the emblems not the entire congregation.

Hello Outlaw,

It seems we have a slight mis-communication issue here. Jesus isn't a Hebrew or Greek name it is a translation in english, just like Jehovah's name is translated into english with the same meaning as the hebrew tetragrammaton.

[Blend of the letters of the Tetragrammaton and, with modification, the vowels of Adonai.]

King David's name was also translated from a Hebrew name into a english name. Lot's of other names in the Bible were translated into english names with the same meaning as the original.

i have seen the first one mind you, so a few things didnt make sense but it was pretty easy to catch up with the plot.

If the name Jehovah is an improper name given to the Almighy God. I guess we could say that Jesus is the improper name for our King and Savior. Also everyone else who's name has been translated would be deemed incorrect.

Maybe I should change my name, but I would not make disrespectful smart comments about other people I don't know over the internet. That would be a sign of cowardness and weakness.

I saw it and the movie was on the money!! I guess they didn't have a concept for Galactus so they used some images that are currently seen in our universe thru telescopes. They did do a great job with the silver surfer. I hear they are going to create a spin off for origin of the silver surfer.

Also I don't know if you are familiar with the following 70's & 80's cartoons such as underdog, speed racer and iron man, These films are also in production and will be in theaters soon!
