As I see it the Harlot only has a short time left. As for the number of years I do not know. But you can see it in the media with the clash of church and state on a variety of issues. They are definitely dabbling in politics which will eventually lead to their nakedness and destruction. The tribulation has started and its picking up speed as time goes on. As far as the preaching work being called to an end, this work will have to be done until the very end.

by yadda yadda 2 inthe nearly 10% increase in partakers at the memorial in the 2008 annual service report is a huge increase.
there were increases in the previous years too.. this massive increase is no doubt attributeable to the 'new light' this year that the calling of the 'heavenly class' was not closed in 1935, as previously taught.
the new understanding this year is that the calling of the 'anointed' class is 'evidently' still open.

Actually doesn't the scriptures say that many are invited but only few are chosen? If so it does not matter who receives the invitation only that the host would have to make a decision when the time comes. The door is open but who really has received the invitation? Some say it's a feeling while others say it is more than a feeling.
I say let us not judge and let Jehovah judge who is and who is not. -

Homorovah, I resent that last comment. You do not have to belong to a cult to believe in the prophecies of the bible. Some people are acting like they do not see whats going on in the world today. This crisis is far worse than they are reporting. I'm not trying to scare anyone but the proof is in the pudding. There is a big change coming and people need to start opening their eyes to the truth and reality. Mankind's greed is the cause of the tribulation not God. And I don't understand why Homorovah is so angry. Do you need a hug?

homoravah I believe your comment is very unprofessional. I never targeted anyone on this site. I learned a lot from this site and never had turned to cursing or disrespecting anyone. Just because some of these people are former JW's doesn't not mean they don't still worship God and have morals. You need to get your language in check. Abbagail you are correct in saying that God is not responsible for the tribulation but mankind is responsible.
