How'd you like to live up here in Ontario. It was -13 F, without the windchill factor. My nose froze when I was pumping gas this morning.
Us Canucks are getting pretty tired of the cold . I'd rather be where you are right now. Hang in there guys.

i need someplace to vent, so excuse me but i am very angry at the moment.
as most of you know, my father in law committed suicide last sunday (the 16th).
his death hit nina hard, but i've discovered this week that my sweet little kitten of a wife has the heart of a lion.

now that you aren't making 5 meetings per week and going out in field service and doing all that personal study, what occupies your time?

except for being bogged down as a busy mom. I LOVE MY LIFE.
Since we left, we got heavy duty into the camping scene. There is no way that we could enjoy camping as much if we were still in the bOrg. As soon as May hits and into October we're out there with our trailer. Every second weekend we go camping. Which entails. relaxation to the fullest.
Camp fires, beautiful sunsets over the lake. Listening to the loons on the lake is such a relaxing sound. This is a time where I can refresh myself, enjoy my kids (because they love the outdoors), away from the hustle bustle of ordinary life.
I could never go back to that awful treadmill of jw life.

my boys pulled out a come from behind victory to take the district high school basketball championship tonight 59-55. i won't sleep a minute.
both teams were very evenly matched but as i thought our conditioning would be the difference.
they couldn't buy a bucket in the 4th quarter and we rang them up.

Could you get him to look this forum up so he can get some help and support from us.
Most of us have been in your husband's position. My Husband and I were raised as JW's from birth, now that we're out we are living a happy normal life, and much happier on the marital side of it all.
He needs a support group, and your probably the only one right now, so go to him and help him see the light. My thoughts are with you in your time of wanting to keep your marriage together.

Hey Joy, no problem. If there's a party, I'd be there, no matter what time it was. Anyway, I thought, at 8:30 this morning, somewhere in the world it was 12:30, which in my book of rules , time for a drink.

i wanted to try out the new "system" simon has created for us so i thought i would ask a question that's been bugging me for a while.. "field service reports" - is this the correct terminology for the 'time sheets' a jw fills out to show how much time they spend going door to door?
what's bugging me is how do jws justify needing to fill out these 'time sheets?

It's just another form of control and labelling.
I know when I'd fill out these darn forms that I was embarrassed if I hadn't put enough time in the field service, or didn't place enough publications. So I'd try to endeavour to do better the next month. Oh if I only knew then what I know now. I would have told the brothers who would phone me at home, because they didn't have my report for that month and they needed to know the hours, and placements. I would have told them to TAKE A FLYING LEAP!!!
