  how i got here

  after having looked at this site for almost a year and recently made small replies to threads, i should introduce myself to you all and tell you how i got here:.

  i was raised as a jw.

  it didn't take long to figure out that to have more independence at home, i'd better be a stand-out jw.

  you know when you have a certain tune in your head, and you just can't figure out which one it is?

  well, i just figured mine out, its "hey daar al gij dorstigen, komt en drink het levenswater vrij".

  JW Humanitarium Welfare Relief Programme.

  what could a despairing and god-forsaken adversary beseiged iraqi (only for example) refugee expect to receive in a welfare package distributed as part of aid relief from the jw's?

  (should they ever choose, by divine direction of course, to adopt a more compassionate outlook to their non-existant ethic of community values).. might i suggest -an issue of the watchtower with the main study article - relief from oppression by god near at hand.

  isn't there just a slight touch of ambiguity in that title?an issue of the awake!
