Became a witness in 1970. Raised 3 children in the "truth" - fortunately none of them became witnesses. I began having questions about why Bethel was so opposed to new "partakers" early on. That, along with failed prophecies (it's your fault you believed what we "never" said) and exasperation at the ever expanding issue of controlling every little aspect of our lives, led to me officially DA myself in 1994. Became "born again" in 1998, and my husband of over 30 years was "born again" in 2002! Life has never been better!
