Where'd you sit in the KH?
by DblOSmith inour hall has 3 sections of seating, we always sat in the left section all the way in the back if possible heh.
it's funny: it seemed like all the foreign people, immigrants, etc, sat on the right side, all the "goody goods" sat in the middle, and all of the um "shady" people... all the people i would think would become defectors sat on the left.

*shiver* I just came back from a trip where we drove nonstop to california and then nonstop back. 24 hours in the Ford Explorer. Yikes. heh. I drove from Houston to Phoenix on the way there, then I just died. on the way back I drove the whole 24 hours. Surprised myself. heh. exhausting trip.
But umm... I'm in Houston. If anyone wants to carpool from Houston, Give me a holla.

Just venting
by dsgal ini faded from the jws thirteen months ago and since then i have only been called on by two elderly pioneer "sisters" a couple of times.no loving shepherding calls from the elders,not even once.i always felt out of place at the kh because i didn't have any friends there.never once got invited to social gatherings the whole year i went there.what's with all the clique $hit?that's about as far from jesus' teachings as i've ever seen.now today out of the blue i have a message on my machine from one of the elder's mother.i didn't call her back.wonder what came over her to think of me anyway?oh well,you all might not understand my feelings but i feel better now that i sat down and typed it out.

I feel you there, man. Of the 7 years I've gone to the hall I've only been to one social. I think the only one they've had in 7 years. heh. One thing about my hall, though: there were only 2 people in the whole hall between the ages of 14 and about... 25. Me and... mmmm.... Brandon. I wonder if he still has the 5.0... It was the weirdest thing. heh
Otherwise, yeah, our hall was very cliquish. certain groups sit on certain sides, no one waivered. Like territories. :) *creats spinoff thread*

How did you imagine the end happening?
by DblOSmith ini always imagined it as being the sky turning different shades of purple and finally seeing colors i've never seen before.
loud lightening, thunder in all directions... i would hear god speak, then the sky would turn red, and i'd see angels coming down from the sky and devils go up and fight in the sky... kinda like in raiders of the lost arc.
it would last 40 years, then the earth would split and open all demons would be cast below, and then 2 weeks of rain will cleanse the earth and the paradise would grow from the ash and neutrient rich rain.. .

it's always good to find others who understand where we've been without having to explain or rehash everything we've done or said that may seem eccentric to someone who hasn't "been there" .
