Wow more heavy artillery propaganda from the 11/14 WT!!!!!

i have never seen a wt so full of logical fallacies, appeals to emotion, appeals to authority, guilt tripping and bite techniques all in one issue!
paragraph 9 states clearly that even though the gb is imperfect, that does not matter, we must obey them anyways.

BU2B -- at the last circuit meeting I attended laat year, the CO gave an ENTIRE TALK without turning to or referencing the Scriptures once. I remember bc I said so aloud.
At least in this paragraph they cite one text. It really is not beyond them anymore to go without citing Scripture.

Why do they need to continually fan the flames of hate towards your own family members?
I'm out both mentally and physically so I understand that I don't deserve this type of abuse. But those who are still in mentally but out physically? These are the types of commentary/ direction from the borg that can push one over the edge to live a reckless life or even to commit suicide!
So df'd family members deserve death, and there is no use in mourning the loss of that relationship? If there must be constant reminders, then that's bc in their heart of hearts the r&f know that it is wrong to shun your loved ones. It hurts TOO DAMN MUCH.
Omfg I hate WTBTS. I do. I really do.

That last year I was a jw I usually went with a few glasses of wine or a few shots of alcohol on me. God, I hated the meetings , they were such torture. A room full of hypocritical pious ppl. :-(

Demon attacks on JW in past, where'd they go?
by thedepressedsoul inin the 80's and 90's (maybe even earlier) i remember hearing lots of witnesses talk about "demon attacks".
whether it was someone studying the bible who then started having strange things happen in their house to people bringing stuff home from yard sales and getting personal attacks and horrible dreams resulting in them dystroying stuff they brought home or getting rid of it.. .
i also remember hearing a sister say she had to pray in a home with a study because the study started to get attacked.

It remains one of my favorite movies of all time! As a child I always watched it on Easter Sunday, looking forward to it every year. Now the networks play it on Saturday night. I could easily buy it on DVD but don't. It'd lose its allure.

Not on jw.org - comments regarding bad Jehovah's Witness employees
by jwfacts ini used to be very impressed with convention experiences regarding how worldly employers would hire jws because they were known as the most honest workers.
i was too indoctrinated to realise these were selective experiences, and there are plenty of experiences of jws being dishonest in the workforce.
i have received a couple recently by email.. i have cut quite a bit out of the following email i received so that the person and company cannot be indentified, but you will get the message.. .

My ex husband has his own business and at times employed other jws who needed work. I can tell you, it was pretty laughable. Most lasted no more than a week bc they were too weak to do the physical labor components of the job, and asked if they could do the easier aspects which required skills and knowledge. Um, no, you don't know anything about this trade-- you can only carry those bags and deliver the materials.
For those that did last longer, none gave us a 2 week notice when they quit. We had absolutely no advanced preparation , no time to find a guy to take his place. HORRIBLE.
I'd feel badfor the brotgers that were broke, but when I saw this pattern of behavior develop, I stopped advocating for their hire.
