sickening to see the photo of the religious zealots all stood around the governor signing into law the right for people to discriminate against others (gay, lesbian, trans-gender) based purely on religious dogma.. if religious people want those freedoms then the can't have it both ways - they cannot complain if *they* are discriminated against.. "sorry, we don't like zionists, get out".

Couldn't help it, could you Junction Guy? I wondered when you were going to show up to spread your own particular brand of hate. You are completely wrong; the courts have determined that you are wrong and will continue to do so. The US Constitution, when it was penned, determined that you are wrong.

Your examples are wrong. The only people being sued are haters who are discriminating and violating the US Constitution as well as the individual laws protecting blacks, religious people, gays and others from begin discriminated AGAINST in commerce and business. Practice your own brand of X-tian hate inside the confines of your churches and homes. You do not have a legal right to practice your hate in the marketplace.

Born again bible believers also were the tip of the spear in hating and discriminating against blacks, so I will 'fix' your comments:

Welcome! We probably all felt like fools when we discovered the Borg was nothing but another religion at best and a cult at worst. It was a very good lesson for me, however. I'm with EdenOne; you're screwed if your prayer is answered. You should have picked something that would never ever occur, such as a man asking for directions or a woman actually apologizing for something she did or said.

Whether I was an elder has absolutely nothing to do with this discussion. It is yet another Debating strategy used by you and others sharing your views in this OP when you aren't getting your way. I am an expert in this particular field. If you want to dissect me, look at my posting history. I rarely if ever enter OPs where I can't provide significantly to it or where I'm not a subject matter expert.

Ego? I mean, really? You had every opportunity to avoid the keyboard and spare us all your incessant whining about a topic on which few if any adults agreed with you. You make wise-ass comments about a topic you know nothing about. Ego? Really?

Google church shootings. Google pranks gone bad. I've forgotten more about this topic than you will ever know. You haven't a clue what I do or have done in these areas or where I've done these types of things or who I've done them with and for. WTF do you think is occurring in churches, synagogues and mosques?? Not all of them are sitting by passively; many of them are developing plans.

The probability of any of these events occurring at an individual church, etc. is very small; the probability of one of these events occurring at a church, etc. in any year is 100%. That isn't an opinion. I suggest that you avoid talking like an expert about things you know nothing about or use the world wide web to do something other than showing your ignorance.

I'm not surprised you find it hilarious. Say hi to Larry and Curley. The more you respond to this OP the more ignorant you make it clear than you are. Don't stop.

One of these pranks is going to result in a physical attack or a geriatric Dub dying of a heart attack during the event. Then the dumbass pranksters will be sued. These are the types of things that inevitably occur. About 4 months ago there was another one of these videos posted, except the pranksters entered the KH before the meeting began with video cams in hand, creating a commotion and marching around the hall. I've worked with church groups developing active shooter and other security related plans and programs. Some of them have such plans, including armed deacons. It doesn't take much to imagine one of those deacons opening fire if such an event occurred in their church.

The Dubs may be pacifists, but sooner or later someone is going to get hurt and someone is going to get sued and potentially incarcerated. Welcome to the real world he said to me, condescendingly.

As I've stated before, this is the world wide web, where ANY dumbass viewpoint or opinion can immediately collect a gaggle of like-minded dumbasses who feel the same way.

prbow's comments illustrate a consequentalist view, which means that the end justifies the means. This type of view typically is valid only when there are no other viable alternatives. There are a lot of ways to reach born-ins and others that do not include these types of disrespectful, counterproductive actions. In addition, a consequentialist issue typically doesn’t involve pranks and being punked, which insults our intelligence. Consequentialist issues typically deal with very real ethical decisions.

Continuing to respond in a reactionary manner as if this is a critical component of reaching the Borg is immature and completely un-supported by any data.

Another thing I notice for each of these incidents, including the last one where I think it was Cedars who recorded his prank call to a GB member, and that is the pranksters are completely egocentric, narcissistic, posing, look at me individuals. It is clear to me that their intent isn’t to reach poor little born in dubs; it is to disrupt while bringing attention to their narcissistic selves - the selfie generation on steroids. Ashton Kucher wouldn’t even be proud of these idiots.

But the young males will dig their feet in and continue to respond in a manner that suggests their pre-frontal cortices haven’t solidified (and they haven't). We have the same conversation each time one of these is posted.

Ditto. It wasn't funny. It was disrespectful, rude, and counter-productive. But similar OPs seem to fall into a generational and gender like/dislike of these types of sophomoric actions. In other words, these types of incidents seem to play well with males under the age of 35 or so. I"m watching this as an ex-Dub who has no love for the Dark Lords and I'm feeling sorry for the rank and file at this Memorial.

You made a bit of sense until you kept yapping:

You clearly haven't been paying attention the past 100 years or so as the courts have interpreted the Constitution. Your wishes or desires are childish and immature. Find another country or planet that will allow you to legally discriminate in such manner. We have adequately addressed your whining in this OP; the SCOTUS and the Constitution addressed it a long time ago, and continue to do so with the recent cases supporting gay marriage and the rights of gays to not be discriminated against in commerce and business. Grow up. Your childish attempts to have the final word in this matter is obvious to all. Your point of view has been heard and dismissed by the evidence. Deal with it.
