Rip,
I'm glad you aren't a conspiracy theorist. That is most excellent.

Rip,
Geesh dude. Compound Complex has been on this site for 9 years. He has started 713 OPs and made 10,699 posts (likely many more as some were probably lost during upgrades).
A search of this site reveals that vaccines and anti-vaxxers are one of the most hotly and frequently debated topics. And you are suggesting that dear, sweet, lovable CC didn't have ANY ulterior motives other than to start a friendly discussion??? I avoided being an ass-hole on this topic when dear, sweet, lovable CC initially posted it.
You have got to be a conspiracy theorist; no one else could be so delusional. Now stop wasting our time.
DJS, aka Ass-Hole
Rip,
Complex probably is a very nice guy. But this OP was nothing but an open door to troll for anti-vaxxers and spread the anti-vaxxer conspiracy theorist infection, which is why it was bumped. I avoided the initial OP; I only entered this discussion when it was bumped. Save your rhetoric.
And if people like you and the rest of the brain dead theorists and haters amongst us (those are really the only 2 groups I flame) think of me as an ass-hole, I will wear the moniker proudly.
Thank you. DJS, aka Ass-hole
The premise of this OP is insulting. Anecdotal 'experiences' from the brain dead end of timers, hysterical reactionaries and the conspiracy theorists should be kept to themselves - not spread like an infection to the masses.
One good thing about these groups avoiding vaccines - they are more likely to die early deaths due to the viruses they are more likely to get. And that will cull the DNA herd, mitigating the defective DNA in our gene pool. Gotta love evolution. The 'fittest' are those smart enough to follow empirical evidence and not the hysterical housewives, cab drivers and quack scientists among us but, like Connie on the recent SNL skit, they are close to their computer.
Just keep your anti-vaccine hysteria to yourselves, so that you won't infect those not carrying the defective genes. And do something productive with your lives, such as completing that fallout shelter that Ms. Daisy recommends.
Bumping this very, very bad OP was an obvious attempt by the hysterics and the theorists to influence others.
the above is a quote from a jw female relative.
this was in response to a discussion about the suffragette movement ( and the movie about it that's currently in cinemas).
she seemed to think that it would be so much better if women were just daughters/ wives/ mothers and didn't go out to work and have career's?
To Daisy and all of the other End of Time Nutjobs, my present to you from Saturday Night Live. Enjoy.
So let me get this straight. I'm supposed to 'consider' something that a housewife living in the Pacific NW, Daisy Luther, says about something she doesn't know anything about. Riiiigggghhhhttt. Ms. Luther's only claim to fame, other than being the goddess mouthpiece of the end of time hysterics and Armageddon/Economic Crisis/Loss of Utilities/Nuclear Winter/WTSHTF End Time preppers ready to move to Idaho or the fallout shelter they built with her guidance whenever the cataclysm begins. Oh yes, and this from her own publicist:
"Daisy uses her background in alternative journalism to provide a unique perspective on health and preparedness, and offers a path of rational anarchy against a system that will leave us broke, unhealthy, and enslaved if we comply."
I'm supposed to ignore the CDC and all of the other independent research performed on the flu vaccine and all of the other vaccines and listen to Ms. Daisy, the organic farming housewife in the US NW with NO formal education about these topics and NO real experience.
These studies have been conducted by numerous countries - not just the US. The studies are exhaustive, conducted over several decades and include millions of people given vaccines in multiple countries. But they are all wrong and in on the conspiracy while Ms. Daisy is right.
Yes, let's consider Driving Ms. Daisy. To her survivalist shelter where the other nut jobs are waiting on her with open arms.
across the u.s the minimum wages are $5.15 in wyoming to $9.50 in dc,.

Captain Schmideo2,
You are my hero. Your statement can be applied to nearly every OP:
music and art have been a big part of my life since i was a little boy, and although i was never able to play a decent guitar, i can paint.
my art teacher from college said " i was the most imaginative and constructive pupil she had ever had.
" i loved that comment, because in translation i realised it meant i had to work harder than other more naturally talented students, but the effort was always worth it.
My rational self would state that the only things I need are air, water, food and protection from the elements. And girl parts. Having said that, yes, art and music are very important to me. The attached picture is Karma Room, where I start each of my days with coffee and reflection. Karma Room is full of art that brings me quiet and peace.
If not for Karma Room I would likely be a serial killer . . .
Of conspiracy theorists. Just kidding. Rebel, you are growing on me. Sorta like a fungus.
that's what i suspect.. perhaps some of us retrained our brains to not surrender to a natural urge to believe the simplest, most drama-laden spins on facts.. examples (at least i think this is the truth!):.
the clock.
the son of muslim activists makes a device that, on purpose, looks like a bomb.
Theorists,
You DO mean to hijack this thread, so stop the bullshitting.

"It is not that I “believe” that GMOs, at least those introduced to the marketplace and included in my research, are as safe as non-genetically modified food - it is what the data say. And that is why the scientific societies support the consensus of data.
