pbrow is at least consistent; he posted the same 'end justifies the means' nonsense the first time this was discussed. Hey pbrow; it doesn't. Really. -

(see below for previous OP). The leader of the gang quickly joined the site in defense of their activities during this Memorial (of course he denied being the ring leader). He left with his tail between his legs. Someone on the site no doubt tipped him off that their antics weren't being received quite so well by the ex-dub community.
"These guys crash a Kingdom Hall on Memorial, video included"

NeveraDub,
"For 20 years I listened to talk radio in the U.S., being indoctrinated to see the left just as depicted in this movie."
Twenty years of Rush Limbaugh, Michael Savage and Matt Drudge? Just shoot me.
I avoid nut jobs of any persuasion, liberal, conservative, religious, conspiracy theorists, or psychotic girls (unless they are really, really hot). Having said that, I have found it much more difficult to find left wing nut jobs; I rarely stumble across them.
I've taught at two colleges, and my experience is vastly different. We had a few right wing nut jobs. They didn't fare well as could be expected in a collegiate environment. But I do not recall any left wing nut jobs, and the focus of both colleges was to have open minded, fair and respectful discussions about all topics. I kept my personal political and religious views to myself; I believe most of the other profs did the same.

Stan,
All apologies. I assumed you two were together on a continuous basis, thus the question of 'why' you would allow someone to treat you in such manner. Again, all apologies.

Blackwolf,
I echo those who state that you may want to read Tolkien's books. I've read the Hobbit, the Trilogy and the prequel. They require a commitment; they aren't Harry Potter. Although both transfer to the big screen in mystical fashion, Harry Potter is a child's read. Tolkien's books are not.
Moreover, Tolkien influenced culture in an amazingly high manner. Google it. A lot of the video games, movies, tv dramas, books, etc. that have been produced the past half century owe a lot of their inspiration to Tolkien. A number of rock groups (Rush, Led Zeppelin, Beatles) wrote songs inspired by or directly about Tolkien's Middle Earth world. Tolkien inspired Lucas, Spielberg and others.
Some people think Tolkien gets too much credit. I don't. He was a 20th Century icon. Go for it Blackwolf!!

"Most women would prefer to be stay at home housewives. Women's lib did alot of damage to women!"
by purrpurr inthe above is a quote from a jw female relative.
this was in response to a discussion about the suffragette movement ( and the movie about it that's currently in cinemas).
she seemed to think that it would be so much better if women were just daughters/ wives/ mothers and didn't go out to work and have career's?

@Sabin: "DJS, is that happier if he's taller laying down or standing up?"
FUNNY! If you keep making wise-ass comments like this, I will be forced to consider you for membership into the exclusive Wise-Ass Club, of which I am the CEO and Alpha. You can replace And Don't Call Me Shirley - a former member I miss terribly who apparently lost a battle with the Forum Alpha (Simon).
The study didn't say. Girls????
However, on an empirical note, I can find no data suggesting taller men are better husbands, lovers or fathers. But based on a number of US studies, including a recent study by Harvard U and a poll of Fortune 500 companies about the height of their CEOs, men at least 6' tall make nearly $6k more per year on average than men who are 5'5" and the average height of male CEOs was 3 inches taller than the average male.
This suggests what we would intuitively expect: women place a high value on security, typically represented by power (height, fame, etc.) and $$$. Taller men make more $$ on average, as they likely do in S. Korea. This even has a name: Tall Male Syndrome.
Women will often select a male that will: earn more money, be a better protector, or otherwise stay close to the nest. In other words, anything that will give her that sense of security. Based on how we evolved and societal and cultural reinforcements, this makes sense. But what the S. Korean study suggests is that women will STAY with a man, when all other factors appear equal, who makes more money.

Turns out you XXers really do want to be - or feel - dominated (from personal experience I already knew that). From yesterday's news:
Women Are Happier Married to Men With This Trait, Courtney Smith, Dec. 7, 2015
Happy wife, happy life, the saying goes. The onus of that cliché is always placed on the man, whose job it is to make his wife happy. However, you can make yourself a happy wife by marrying man who is taller than you.
A survey, conducted by researchers at Konkuk University in Seoul, South Korea, examined 7,850 Indonesian women in a long-term population study with the aim of discovering whether a taller male partner had a discernible effect on the happiness of the female. Turns out it does, and the happiness level the woman feels only grows as the height disparity gets bigger.
