  How do you feel about the expression "The Truth"?

  it's amazing how the expression "the truth" has become such an ingrained term used by witnesses.. "we have 'the truth'".

  "is he 'in the truth'?".

  most here have found out so many facts about the organisation, and felt the effects of being "gut-punched" as we realised these facts.. so how do you feel about the expression "the truth" now?.

  I'm posting this from the other thread.

  I eradicated it in 15 minutes, and I was essentially a born in. It might take some a long time or never to eradicate. For some of us, it happens at the speed of light. Using it on this forum has repercussions. If I'm a lurker and I read people talking about the 'truth,' I'm wondering why they left it if it is the truth.

  It took me 15 minutes to eradicate it, and I was essentially a born in. Typing it into your browser while on this site has repercussions. As with everything we post, we owe it to ourselves, lurkers, other posters, the topic, the site and to help those exiting from this god awful cult to give some sentient thought to WTF we type.

  That isn't rocket science.

  It makes me want to vomit. But you all already knew that. I don't mean to be mean, but anyone exiting the hate filled cult should quickly evaluate how and why they were attracted to it and/or trapped in it. The special language was one of those indoctrinating, controlling tactics employed by the Dark Lords.

  As Punk states, cults develop their very own unique set of words and language with one purpose: to control the rank and file. It is difficult for me to understand how anyone leaving the hate filled cult can not understand that and quickly end use of those 'special' words. But to qualify, to me Patience is a stripper down at the Platinum Club.

  As I've said before, there is a reason Simon has you as one of the wardens. You do an excellent job. I am somewhat of a challenge, and I know my toes are routinely across the line. It's kinda sorta amazing you all haven't given me the boot already.

  I've tried to change. Really, I have. I'm not bad; I'm just drawn that way.

  The have been shunning those still in for decades by a variety of measures, all of which have been supported directly or indirectly by the Dark Lords (marking, viewing those who miss a few meetings or have low hours in FS as 'weak' or 'bad association,' often failing to invite such ones to the reindeer games or other congregation functions, restricting 'privileges", etc.).

  The elder wraiths are simply doing the will of their masters in Brooklyn. A lot of elders LOVE this kind of stuff; it gives them a reason for living and a feeling of importance. Now they get a chance to rid the congregation of evil, keeping it clean and white for the evil Sauromons in Mordor.

  To all site members and posters. Please, please, please try to refrain from referring to the cult as the 'truth.' I don't even like ttatt. There is nothing truthful about this hate filled cult; it was formed on lies and it lives on by lies. I stopped using that term immediately after exiting the Dark Tower. I do not understand why so many of you continue to use it.

  The sooner we stop using the loaded cult-like language which was designed to indoctrinate and program us, the quicker we can all move past it.
