  i just found these vidoes on youtube, maybe you have seen them already, but i thought i would share.

  these canadian kids for me are courageous and inspiring.

  i have not meet all atheists, and it would be foolish for me to assume that all atheists, share the same prototypical view points.

  i am inclined to feel that this classifies the views of a large percentage of atheists.

  Excellent summary. I've only been on the site for just over 2 years, but I've seen it evolve to being more rational and less religious/scripture. If it hadn't I would have left a long time ago (hold your applause, all of you wishing I had :-).

  ROTFLMAO, I mean LAWHfol,

  I speak for one atheist. Me. Having said that, too many people place too much emphasis on the motives and rationale employed by atheists. IMHO I believe that all atheists SHOULD be individuals who require evidence before believing anything.

  Taking an entrenched view is what theists do. Atheists have evolved past that, or at least they should have. I don't consider 'atheists' who are angry at god as atheists, because that isn't an atheist. That's an irrational, reactionary, emotional response to external or internal stimuli. And it's what theists do. Once such individuals get a job, get laid or whatever else ails them is at least temporarily fixed, they are likely to 'forgive' god and become believers again. They don't deserve to be labeled as atheists.

  Like others have said, when verifiable, replicable evidence is provided that god exists, I will believe in her. Y'all theists give this WAY too much irrational, emotional energy.

  I'm glad Debbie, Crystal and Marley now have freedom to live their lives. I wish the Dubs would leave them alone; sadly, that doesn't seem to be the situation.

  Back again!!

  back again since about 10yrs ago.

  last year attended the international convention in new orleans and was feeling some type of way afterwards.

  went to a couple of meetings and then the thrill was gone.

  • Opium (Religion telling you what to do and making you feel good) Addict
  • Ambition-less Drone Lacking Social and Psychological Skills to Compete in Today's World and commiserating with the Dubs feels comfortable and non-threatening
  • A part of you is hedging that they may be right (which is the scariest reason of all) and you fear the Big "A"
