  I think I get your point. Would you have had the same view if Cofty's OPs had started off with "The Evidence Supports Evolution?" or something to that effect, rather than "Facts"?

At the least you would lose your 'privileges' (sordid much) and be 'marked' (sordid very much), resulting most likely in the BOE assigning a committee of 3 (judicial committee - sordid very much) to determine your guilt of 'apostasy' (vomit caliber sordid) and possibly DFed (the pièce de ré·sis·tance of sordid).

  But stick around MakeMeAnUnbeliever, I believe we are in the process of doing so (MakingYouAnUnbeliever). And that is excellent.

  How do you feel about the expression "The Truth"?

  it's amazing how the expression "the truth" has become such an ingrained term used by witnesses.. "we have 'the truth'".

  "is he 'in the truth'?".

  most here have found out so many facts about the organisation, and felt the effects of being "gut-punched" as we realised these facts.. so how do you feel about the expression "the truth" now?.

  I'm posting this from the other thread.

  I eradicated it in 15 minutes, and I was essentially a born in. It might take some a long time or never to eradicate. For some of us, it happens at the speed of light. Using it on this forum has repercussions. If I'm a lurker and I read people talking about the 'truth,' I'm wondering why they left it if it is the truth.

  It took me 15 minutes to eradicate it, and I was essentially a born in. Typing it into your browser while on this site has repercussions. As with everything we post, we owe it to ourselves, lurkers, other posters, the topic, the site and to help those exiting from this god awful cult to give some sentient thought to WTF we type.

  It makes me want to vomit. But you all already knew that. I don't mean to be mean, but anyone exiting the hate filled cult should quickly evaluate how and why they were attracted to it and/or trapped in it. The special language was one of those indoctrinating, controlling tactics employed by the Dark Lords.

  As Punk states, cults develop their very own unique set of words and language with one purpose: to control the rank and file. It is difficult for me to understand how anyone leaving the hate filled cult can not understand that and quickly end use of those 'special' words. But to qualify, to me Patience is a stripper down at the Platinum Club.

  As I've said before, there is a reason Simon has you as one of the wardens. You do an excellent job. I am somewhat of a challenge, and I know my toes are routinely across the line. It's kinda sorta amazing you all haven't given me the boot already.

  I've tried to change. Really, I have. I'm not bad; I'm just drawn that way.

  each letter of code in a chromosome is joined to its compliment - a to t and c to g - and the whole string is arranged in the iconic double-helix shape discovered by watson and crick in 1953.. our chromosomes come in pairs, one from our father and one from our mother.
