Many are leaving their enforced, inbred and inherited religions, and surprise it's not just JWs… ….. and replacing it with another one that's exactly like it, that espouses the same end of time nonsense, that there is only one way to survive the coming worldwide destruction and that is to follow their self appointed, delusional, uneducated leaders who are the only ones with a direct conduit to god and the truth. And if you don't listen to them and follow them exactly you will be destroyed. And you will deserve it.

Someone anonymously tipped the elders?
by raven inso here an update on my current situation, in a nutshell i've been trying to quietly fade for the past 5 months.. well, my mom somehow found out that i am currently fading and that i live with my boyfriend (for more info on this check my previous posts) i told her yes i live with him and yes i no longer want to be a jw.
anyways, yesterday she met my boyfriend.. awkward.
and after lunch she pulled me aside to tell me that the po came up to her (he was part of my jc when i was reproved) he said to her "someone came to me and said - i cannot say who so they will remain anonymous- but that your daughter is living with someone" my mom confirmed and apparently he told her that i have one week to confess this, and if i don't my parents are obligated to tell them everything.. what kind of nonsense is that?

They will likely have her DFED in absentia without her even knowing it if she sends them a letter on her own. Contacting an attorney then would be closing the barn door too late. Very bad advice.
The blood thirsty sharks, I mean elders, will view her passivity and or non compliance as fear and guilt. Blood in the water.
So you can be a passive victim, which has a 100% likelihood of failure, or you can immediately get an attorney and prepare to fight Back
Hard. The success rate isn't 100%, but it is a lot better than the alternative.
We are assuming by your posting this that being DFED isn't a desirable outcome. If it is, ignore.

Get an attorney, as others have suggested, to prepare and send them a letter that states you won't be subject to any of their judicial processes and that you will sue them if they take any congregational, df -ing actions against you.
In hindsight, a 5 month fade that includes moving in with your BF was not a very good idea. Since you call it a fade we can assume you have been sporadically attending meetings, etc. during this time.
If so, you have placed yourself squarely in their crosshairs. Good luck. See an attorney.

Galatians 5:26 was used in and before the 1960`s to not be involved in competitive sports for yourself or for your children
by smiddy inmyself and my peers in the jw organization in the 1960`s discouraged our children from entering into competitive sports because of the jw policy , regarding that scripture .. has their been a radical change since then ?
a re-interpretation of that scripture ?.
why i ask this question is : here in victoria australia where afl football ( aussie rules ) is often regarded as a religion , especially to the state, victoria , we have, according to the media , a devout jehovah`s witness playing professional afl football at a competitive level.. and at their latest win , the team , including alec rance a jw of the richmond club was enthusiastically singing the club victory song along with his teammates on their win .. are their other examples of this in other parts of the world or is this an australian hiccup.. smiddy.

but then i somehow pushed it back for quite some time because i didnt want to change my life and it was convenient to instantly meet new people when you move into a new city.couple of years into my marriage and seeing all the changes in the jw my thirst for ttatt resurfaced.

I'm actually a softie, but he got himself in this mess. Ignoring that and playing nice by treating him like a complete victim serves no purpose, least of all in assisting neva. There is of course always 2 sides to every story. All we know is what neva told us and we can glean from his tenure on this site, the length of time he has known the cult is a cult and the kinds of crap he states he is putting up with from the WWOTE, all the while letting her emasculate him and blame shift all of her issues to him.
That makes me want to projectile vomit. The only thing worse is the placating, enabling, victimizing play nice crowd that feeds into the very reasons neva is in this mess in the first place. That really makes me want to projectile vomit.

The Dark Lords are back pedaling on the Sophia don't say gay video for a good reason. Stating that it was for internal use is a waste of time argument. If it was for internal use they would have simply shared it in the KHs, conventions and by extension in the individual homes of the dubs. The government, at least for now, wouldn't be driven to action in those venues because it is protected under our Constitution. At least for now.
The problem is they put it on the world wide web for everyone. Now it can be squarely in the government's crosshairs and it certainly is in the crosshairs of corporations and individuals. As it should be.
The Dark Lords will likely remove these types of videos and keep them confined to the local KHs and vertical supply chain to the dubs. Taking it out into the world makes it hate speech, regardless of their beliefs. It is hate speech. It is prejudicial. It is homophobic. Regardless of how sweetly they have presented the message.
