  seriously, someone thinks that a video on how to be nice to people different from him is an affront to his god.

  EOM, cultural diversity is being practiced by corporations that includes everyone you mention. Google it. Not only is it the right thing to do, it leads to a more profitable and successful business, based on numerous studies.

  It has become a part of the HR and corporate expectations for employees. You can lose your job for not going along, and legally you don't have much recourse.

  There are other consequences. Just ask Donald Silver, Duck Dynasty Dude, and the Governors of NC and Indiana.

  It is a label he richly deserves, regardless of one"s political, or sexual, persuasion.

  It is one of the reasons he plays well in the heartland.

  Update: Got my Judicial Committee cancelled

  update: so, after the meeting i had with elders a few weeks ago as outlined in my original thread, they met as a body and once again called to tell me that after considering my case they still thought a judicial committee should be held against me and asked to be there "thursday at 7:30".

  all of this, i remind you, because of posting coc on facebook.

  My Brother Called Me Yesterday...

  my brother isn't a witness but he was raised one like we all were.

  after 15 years living his own life he decided about a year ago to have a bible study.

  this being the case, as a non baptized witness he can still speak to me but he's getting a lot of pressure not to from elders and the rest of my family.

  Out of curiosity what are the specifics on your brother? I ask because I can't imaging anyone who has made a success out of their life for the past 15 years away from this dreaded cult ever considering going back to it.

  My guess is that he has little to no college, is lower middle class and struggling financially, has difficulties in maintaining quality relationships and finds it challenging to discipline and control himself in what he eats, drinks, ingests, how he spends his money . . .

  there seems to be confusion within christianity regarding whether or not god communicates with humans today and if he does, how does he do it?.

  - does god still insert thoughts into people's minds today or is that something which he only did in the past?.

  - some maintain that god is no longer giving persons dreams/visions or speaking directly to them or sending angels to speak with them today but he will nevertheless insert thoughts into their minds to guide them.
