Hi! Sorry to hear about your flat weekend. About the poll, I think "11" fits most dubs pretty well. They are in love with the idea of having a pet lion in Paradise, and they believe that this ol' world is rotten-ripe for Armageddon's clean sweep, but other than that I don't thnk most dubs could explain, much less believe, the rest of the nonsense. Heeeeeeeeee's baaaaaaaack...
by Jim_TX inwell, as most know... last week i was in italy... texas (i just love the effect that has on some... *grin*).. i got there on monday around 6pm - past their office closing time, but decided to swing by the main office anyway to check out the domes there.
when i drove up, there was already a new dome on-site, and the work crew were rolling up hoses, and pretty much shutting down for the evening.
my heart sunk!

MEN ONLY- Freezing up at the Urinal!

i know there have to be a lot of men out there who can't pee while in a crowded public restroom (bathroom).
personally, the more people who surround me while i'm standing at the urinal, the more difficult it is for me to pee.

You bring up some excellent thoughts and I agree wholeheartedly. However, I think the purpose of this thread is to show lurkers who may still be involved in the cult and who still look up to the elders that there are many former elders who have seen the errrors of the Witnesses and their false god, the Watchtower, and now seek to make amends. I myself was an elder for eight years and yes, I've done my best to undo the hurt I've caused by sitting in judgement when I really had no right.
The sooner they find out they are no more important than the rest of society the better off they will be.
So true, so true! But maybe threads like this one will be the springboard they need to discover the truth in your statement above!

I was lamenting the demise of the old board while perusing Randy Watters site. There I saw a link to this board and lo and behold! There were many of the familiar faces I'd seen on H2O! People like Farkel, AlanF, and Duncan. So I decided to stick around. But I still don't post much. though...

In my humble opinion, as things stand right now, Kerry hasn't got a chance in hell of winning. Bush is still riding a wave of popularity. True, his points have slipped a bit, but he still enjoys widespread conservative support. Another plus in Bush's favor is that an incumbent President is always favored to win re-election over some upstart challenger. ( Doesn't always happen though, look what happened to his Dad! ) So, to reiterate, unless Bush does something really stupid between now and election day, he will very likely win re-election.

Your sister sounds like so many witnesses I've talked to; On the outside, They are solid in the truth, but on inside, they are full of questions they dare not ask, and doubts they dare not reveal. So sad that they can't express themselves fully to one another, but within the Gestapo-like borg they cannot or they will get it with both barrels. That's why they open up ( ever so slightly ) to people like us who know the borg, but are no longer associated. I hope you and your sister continue to chat and you keep plannting those seeds of truth!

imagine my fright in the local hardware mega-store when i just managed to dodge a sister from our old congo in the poaint section!!!!
that night, i put on the tv and the commercial for a firm of builders i'd thought of using came on - the local contact was the sister's husband!!!
