One point I forgot to bring out is are you old enough to leave your house, and are you working. Because if you get DFS or DA you could get kicked out of the house if your old enough. So plan your exit wisely okay. My husband and I send our love your way. Take care of yourself.

So glad to hear that your finally happy. You see it took you to leave the orgaization to find that out .I'm not gay but I feel for you. I would love to know why JWS are so blind to these things. I know why, they have blinders on. My family are not witnesses, except my daughter is a witness. I have a young nephew that is leaning towards being gay. And I say so what, let him live his life. And that is what my sister is doing let him decide for himself. She's just loving him for who he is. And believe it or not my feelings for a gay person changed when I left the Society. It's really strange the way I use to think it was almost like they had the plague or something. But now I'm free and so are you Timothy, enjoy the ride because it can get bumpy. Life will have it's up and downs. But what is most important is that you are true to yourself and God still loves you no matter what. Live your life to the full. Take care.
my husband and i have had a long week worrying we would lose our niece, and yes the blood issue was very much part of the problem.
it is new to us to actually have the blood issue affect our family, but it really makes you think.
we would have immediately given her blood, but she and husband are still jws.

i had to take a break from jwn here because after all the drama that unfolded over a certain new anti-wt organization i had to back off because i had unbearable emotions and "flashbacks" to being a jw and being bullied.
even though i didn't experience any direct bullying, seeing it happen caused all the negative emotions to come back because i felt like i was back at the kingdom hall.
so i just left for awhile.. i've been having to do a lot of soul searching lately and reevaluating my life.

I'm kind of new too, I just left in November 2012, so it's not to long that I've been out. What made it easy was there's the truth and there's the lie, and I could no longer live the lie, even if it meant losing my daughter and all the friends I had. I couldn't live with it anymore and neither can GOD. So it's nice to hear that your thinking of leaving the organization. If you leave just remember you have all of us to help you get through this. Your loved here no matter what.

I've read this great book called " Kiss That Frog" by Brian Tracy. It's such a wonderful book because it helps you to turn the negatives into positives. It's a very easy book to read the chapters are short. I tend to be negative with things, and now I'm learning to be more positive with things and it has really helped me to move ahead in my life and to get out of the bubble. Even though I wasn't raised in the organization I was a very active publisher until last year when I left. So I can see whwere you were coming from. I don't know if you tend to get depressed like I do or not. A sister told me one time that B vitamins can help. So I tried them and it did help me out. So I try to take them on a regular basis. Hope this is helpful to you. The video will be the best thing you can do to free yourself it will be like a weight off your shoulders.

I"m new here so here it goes. I can certainly feel for you. Atleast you still have your husband and he seems to be on board with you, so that's good because so many JW families break up because of one leaving the faith. You see you've been in for 29 years and I've been in for 31 yrs. That's a long time to be trapped in a bubble. Now your free like so many of us. And guess what were loving it. It does take awhile to not let them control us anymore, and for us to become the real person we are without them no longer controlling us. Keep up the good work and don't let anyone or anything bring you down. Good for you wanting to do the video because like you said, what else can they do to you. Take care of yourself. Remember you have everybody here to help you get through this.

Well thanks for all the love you sent my way. Over the years my husband has been throwing things out to me when he went to the meeting with me. He would say things that he didn't like in the Watchtower magazine, and get me thinking. Well it really came to a head when the governing body said in the March 15th page 20 paragraph 2 said "The other sheep should never forget that their salvation depends on their active support of Christs annointed brothers still on earth." So I thought our salvation comes from Jesus Christ through God not from the annointed. JESUS is the only one we get salvation through not the annointed. So this got me curious and I started to investigate by using our own publications of the society. So theres a few reasons why I left. I'll tell you more later on. So take care of yourselves and continue to love one another.

Recently left the organization and am trying to rebuild my life. Thankfully I have my husband to thank for helping me break free because he checked out a few years ago, but he still came to the meetings every now and then to support me.
This site makes me feel very free and no longer confined to a bubble. There seems to be some great people here and alot of help and support.
