the time has come to leave this forum.
this is my last post.
mission completed.
After looking through your posts to try and get an idea of what your mission could of been, I can wholeheartedly say... Good riddance :)
so i had about had enough of reading jw's excuses online about wt child abuse and the candace conti nightline abc video about her case.
this is a really deep burning topic to me as i'm sure it is to many of you.
so today the gloves came off.
has anyone ever read this book ???
jehovah is mentioned at the very bottom supposedly he is a reptilian god (demon) that resides on jupiter ?
wth.
how do you say it where you are?
geehovah or jahovah?
how many witnesses would take up that offer if a person at the door asked them?
if that doesn't scream out "cult"!
if you know too much about the witnesses then you are an apostate.
I remember going to doors when I was uber zealous, we had a few householders that posed that very question. One householder said "I'll take your magazines if you take my pamphlet". The sister who was talking, took it and we left. When she got in the car, she was holding and looking at it as if she was holding something incredibly vile and disgusting. We drove to the nearest trash can and she threw it away.
No witness will ever accept that offer, ever. I agree with you 100%
hey all,.
i'm curious about the times and places we all come and check in on this great forum.. is it after a long day at work while having a drink, or during the work day on your mobile tablets, or quickly in-between family evenings etc...?.
do most "hide" their tracks when using the family computer, perhaps using "private browsing"?.
hey guys,.
so i've written up a letter to my friend that i plan on sending him to try to wake him up.
he's a very sensible man who i care deeply for.
Thank you all for your responses and input. I think I agree with you. I'm just going to leave it as it is, ponder some more, grow a pair and try to meet with him in person.
first off, no, i don't have one.. but, was researching, and this article "when a loved one leaves jehovah" ( sep 1, 2006, p. 17 ), has a box "have you left jehovah.".
this box includes: "you cannot know if you will even be alive tomorrow.
(psalm 102:3; james 4:13, 14) one man who was diagnosed with a terminal illness said: this illness caught me serving jehovah full-time, with no skeletons in my closet.
I feel that the watchtower is the most powerful when someone is in a weak state of mind, usually after a tragedy. That's usually when they are able to recruit people. This article just proves my theory.
If I had a terminal illness, I would probably do my best to make sure that my family would be cared for in my absence. If I left the organization of my own free will, I would not be returning to it, even if I was about to die.

Hey guys, Thanks for the response.
At this stage, I don't care if I'm DFed. I've lost everything before, I'm not scared.
I actually rather not do this in person because I don't want to have a confrontation with him. The written word would be better. If he reacts favorably or asks to meet, then I'd be willing to see him in person.
On another note, a girl I was (and maybe still am) in love with back in my home country sent me a voice message saying how she hasn't heard from me and misses me. Makes me sad that I'll never speak to her again.
The emotional turmoil is hitting hard :(
