this is going to be a topic of a different nature.
so, while i am not looking to date at the current moment since i'm still trying to figure out who i am and what i want life, i do want to start dating in the near future.. my issue is that i've been in for almost all my life and it's left a big hole when it comes to my romantic life.. i was wondering, after leaving, did any of you date?

I was wondering, after leaving, did any of you date? If so, where did you go to meet people? Did you ever mention your experience as a JW? How did it feel to be able to date freely? What about online dating?

i learned this past week that my wife is now awake.
i just shared the pbs newshour segment with her with no comment other than something along the lines of, "jw story on pbs.".
she is furious at the arrogance of these men.. thats what happens when you get a momma angry!.

don't tell the elders, buuuuut, i sorta kinda maybe never contributed money....ever..... i always thought - hey, i give a lot of my time and energy to the org, so that's how i contribute.

if you know too much about the witnesses then you are an apostate.
I remember going to doors when I was uber zealous, we had a few householders that posed that very question. One householder said "I'll take your magazines if you take my pamphlet". The sister who was talking, took it and we left. When she got in the car, she was holding and looking at it as if she was holding something incredibly vile and disgusting. We drove to the nearest trash can and she threw it away.
