Jehovahs Witnesses beleifs and practices are based solely on the bible.....do they still claim that ?

that was one of the bait and catch arguments that hooked me 53 years ago and i was wondering if they still make that absurd claim .?

that their religion is based on first century chritianity .!.

just a couple of claims that are painfully obviously false :.

1. A modern day-Pharise dream (G:B´s dream that is)

2. The Christ is a creator God, but he is not the same as YHWH or "I am". I think the NWT got it right in this case.

3. Has no bearing to a child of God, It´s not as much what you do as to what you strive to do.

4. Again, Phariseic rules, totally unnecessary.

5. Well, this stupid idea speaks for itself.

Conclusion, this religion IS NOT anything like the first century-Christians, especially since thay do not teach about the Kingdom of Heaven

as Jesus and Paul did. EVERYONE that has a living faith in the life of Jesus will enter the heavenly kingdom sooner or later. Period!

you get up one day with the nagging feeling that it's going to be different.

you get dressed, get in the car, then notice how dark the weather's getting.

"Armageddon" isn´t an entity, i single all out slash aginst humanity. Its more of a spiritual "war" that is happening now, when the Christ returns, and during the millenia until the "conclusion of the systems of things". Its only serious wicked people that are a threat to thier fellow man or are clearly agianst the Father that might be expelled from earth.

its bad enough when the governing body rewrites the organizations past history.

but last october they also began rewriting the organizations future history relative to the appointment over all of jesus belongings mentioned in matthew 24:47.. for many decades they had insisted that jesus made that appointment back in 1919 because the society had been so faithful and discreet about what they had been teaching down till 1919. .

but as shown in captives of a concept they had not been either faithful or discreet about what they had been providing in the way of spiritual food down till 1919. therefore under that scenario there was no possible way the society could have passed a food-at-the-proper-time examination at that time.

Good point. But the society are so far off the original christian teachings. They interpret the parable about the "good slave" as prophesy.

But even so, they would under no circumstances be "appointed" over any belongings withe thier current teachings.

Chances are that the AnointedJW are in fact the "two witnesses" of the Christ in Revelation that would arose in the eleventh hour.

Their names would be a secret and they(Anointed) have so far, kept it secret.

Excellent video, thanks Cedars. Well, as a Christian, of course I´m an apostate.

The society is themself apostates, turned away from the teachings of the Christ and Paul.

Jesus is mediator for only 144,000 literal, a pardise earth forever, a literal ressurection, a "Governing body" in the first century were Paul supposed to have been a member, the overlapping generation, Jesus returned invisibly in 1914 and "choosed" the bible students, women can´t be ms,

and other stuff is nothing but falsehood.In direct conflict with both Jesus and Pauls teachings. By the way, John 17:17 is refering to the Christ himself as Gods word.

In John 8:46-47 Jesus is in fact saying that HE and no-one or nothing else can make such a claim. These verses do NOT refere to the Bible as a whole as the Governing Body seems to think!

i notice the latest yearbook was making a big think about jws being more populous than the country of switzerland.

jws have overtaken a number of small countries in recent years, such as norway, denmark, israel, el salvador, finland, georgia, hong kong and new zealand.

they will be overtaking places like austria, portugal, belgium and greece next.

i started doubting because i hated the idea that jehovah would kill 6 billion non-jw's.

the thing now that is the most important proof for me is that until 1954 jw's worshipped jesus and it is still in the watchtower charter, even though you now get disfellowshipped for worshipping jesus.

First, from a Biblical perspective, what´s true in jw-doctrine? I can only find two things: 1. "Hell" is not literal. 2. The Christ and God(as Jahwe) are two separete beeings. The rest of Watchtower teachings is false: Jesus as mediator for only 144,000 is completely false. A literal resurection is false according to both Jesus and Paul´s statements. Paradise Earth lasting forever is completely false according to both Jesus and John the revelator. The "overlapping generation" is an insult of human intellekt. The "faithfull and descrite slave" is a parable, not prophesy. "Armageddon" is a spiritual war, not literal. The "other sheep" are simply non-jewish Christians, not jw´s with an earthly hope. "I´m the way, the truth and the life" Jesus said, not an earthly organisation. "The Kingdom of God" is not in it´s foremost a government, it´s a fully spiritual world. Everyone that have faith in Jesus Christ are Gods children, and will inherit Christs "belongings". These were some of the things that´s, for me anyway, make´s the Watchtower society look like a false prophet and a spiritual decivier of great magnitude!

Daniel 2:33,34,44,45 scripturally proves the Kingdom was not established in 1914!

at daniel 2:33-35, the "stone" not cut by hands strikes the image on the feet of iron and of molded clay and crushes them.

notice that in daniel 2:44,45, the setting up of the kingdom is synonymous with the stone crushing the image.

verse 44 talks about the kingdom crushing when it is set up, and verse 45 talks about the feet being crushed by the stone.

Well, first, Daniel confirms that the tree is indeed King Nebuchadnezzar himself. Therefore its totally unlogical that the tree could also represent

the Kingdom pf Judah. Secondly, the feet and the toes mixed with iron and clay represents charasteristics of that fourth empire, its not a new one.

The fourth empire is indeed the Roman one, were the eastern part became the strong one with Constantinopel as capital.

A anglo/american empire is just a watchtower fantasy to make them unique and special! The "appointed times of the nations" is a bizzare joke.
