  here is one i found courtesy of ft. worth star-telegram:christmas eve, a year ago.

  the wal-mart in cleburne, texas was jammed, hectic.

  I think most people are emotional rather than stupid

  I disagree. I think most people are so self centered and selfish as to be devoid of emotions of any real sort unless it pertains to themselves and theirs. That is where I've reached my opinion that most are apathetic. I don't want to get into any Hobbesian argument with you Expat cause I know you'll win but, I think you're wrong. Of course I'm just a cynic...

  Damn IG, you've got to be the most sarcastic brat here...LOL!

  CG, that was a touching story! It would have been a more satisfying ending if they had found out who took the woman's money and done a mob justice thing on his or her booty.

  I've found that people are more in touch with there inner 'good person' at this time of year but, that saddens me. I wish people were like that all year long and it's made me somewhat cynical.

  Gosh Brummie, I grew up learning to loathe Christmas songs and then I worked in a mall for 8 years and was constantly inundated with them for 2 months every year. I think the only one I really like, have to agree with Sargon here (Congrats btw) is "Little Drummer Boy" with David Bowie and Bing Crosby. I guess it was just such a strange duo but, it worked so well.

  superbowl is around the corner and just wondering how many of you are football fans and who your favorite team is?.

  me, i don't watch football as much as i used to.

  i'm from huntington, wv and the football team there is marshall university "the thundering herd".

  But hey, we beat the Lions!

  RT, is that really something to brag about? We've almost won as many games this year as the two previous seasons combined. We're on a roll damnit! LOL!
