I think that some are taking this topic a bit too seriously which may in fact be proving Bradley's point.
Good post Walter!
i've heard this said by a few ex-witnesses in my three years away from the organization, and have sometimes said it myself.
sometimes it is said in the context of, "i'd like to move on, but i just can't stop thinking about them.
could it not be that one of the reasons ex-jws "can't stop thinking about" the organization -- and their past involvement with it -- is that they daily log onto this site, read about the society and talk about them?

Good post Walter!
a couple of years ago i listened to the audio book, abridged version, how the irish saved civilization.
awesome.. today i went to the book store and picked up malachy mccourt's history of ireland which looks to be a promising read.
then today padraig harrington won the honda classic.. aye, irish eyes are gleaming!
Erin go bragh!
Caught ya Syrup. *whistles "when irish eyes are smiling" merrily*
i went down to the local 7/11 a few miles from my house to by some 7/11 stuff.
as i was standing at the counter i glanced out at my car to see a little cheerleader wannabe girl leaning against it.
she was drinking a slushy type drink talking to her bubble gum little chicky buddies in her mom's new lincoln navigator next to my car.
It's too bad that panic buttons don't have a taser attachment.

Okay, I'm a water ox...LOL! My love is a water rat. Sooo funny!
as mentioned in my other thread, my daughter lena is having brainsurgery on monday, jan 24. the surgery will last 6-7 hours, so i'm hoping the board members will be willing to make a special effort tomorrow to send positive thoughts, healing energy, good wishes and prayers her way.
we are asking that the surgeon's hands be delicate and skillful and that lena does not bleed overmuch and that brain damage be minimal (if not non-existant).
surgery begins at 8 am eastern standard time (us), but we have to have her to the hospital by 6 am, so this is "good night!
((((Brenda and Lena))))) Love ya both and thanks for the update Brenda! I hope to see you both really soon!

Brenda, I wish nothing but the best for both of you! I hadn't even heard of what you were going through until now. I wish I believed in healing energy. I'll do my best dear! I'm sending positive thoughts your way for you and Lena!
i'm leaving this forum...at least temporarily.
as i mentioned in conversation over dinner at the chicago apostafest, my upcoming school schedule (which begins next week) combined with my workload will make it very difficult to be an active member on this forum.
perhaps i'll check in occassionaly when life is a little slower but for now i'd better distance myself from the on-line scene or else the other elements in my life will suffer.
Brad, can I go to the Cubbies game with you and Bav? You can log off of here as long as you need but you'll never get rid of me.

I'm so excited that I haven't been able to sleep all night. Damn insomnia! Looks like I'm going to be driving in. I'm not sure my car will make it so I might have to rent one.
I'm not worried about nametags. I think I've met almost everyone that's going to be there. And for those I haven't met I have a pretty good memory.

I still might be able to go but I don't know yet. I just moved and everything in my life seems to be up in the air. I could really use a few days away from Michigan! Stupid snow! I should know by next Friday...LOL!
Happy happy! How ya doin? Love ya!
