Here is my question: What's in it for watchtower???? Down my parts they elders have been hounding everyone about filling these emergency preparedness forms. I am wondering if the government is offering incentives in the form of funds, if they get their members to be prepared in case of disaster.

E-mail from friend alerting me to emergency instruction from GB
by Wasanelder Once inhere's a paragraph from a friend who is active.
they say it's important that we fill out this form about emergencies... poor fools.
"hi, i have been meaning to tell you that the society is telling us to fill out an emergency form that the book study conductors have and return it to them in case of an emergency.they will then give us a brochure to have that will tell us where to meet and what to have in our bags so we can grab them and leave in a hurry.

"They (WT) took me out of context", Gail Bethea-Jackson video
by Fatfreek inthis is too important to bury within an old thread.
that thread hashed over several items of interest which you may want to read by way of a refresher: .
is gail bethea-jackson truly a doctor as the watchtower site claims?

I hope she sues the pants off them
I wish she would take legal action. Watchtower does this all the time. They misquote and misapply and see if they can get away with it.

To all of you who continue to "cover your tracks" and are still in ((HUGS))
by Lady Liberty indear friends,.
there are so many here with circumstances that will not allow them to leave the borg, and who week after week have to put on a show, and go to the meetings and service, that i just wanted to send you a big (((hug)) for hangng in there.. though each situation is no doubt different, one thing most likely the same..you would leave if you could,, and you have to endure all the things being taught each week, that you have come to learn are lies!
but we are glad you are here!!

But some of us have already made that choice, or had it made for us, and we've survived.
Good for you!! Now allow the rest of us to do things our own way.
To all those that are quick to judge our decisions to stay a little longer, all I can say is you haven't walked in my shoes. So keep your judgemental comments to yourself.

I do wonder if in the majority of cases, its fear holding people in, more than anything else.
No Sweetstuff, I can assure that it is not fear that keeps some of us in. It's our families. Our love for our mates and parents is what keeps us in. Its knowing how devasted our loved ones would be if we up and left.
I would love nothing more than to close the watchtower chapter of my life. But at present i am content to be mentally free. It is a willing sacrifice I've chosen because I love my family and don't want to see them devasted. And devasted they would be.
But I do look forward to the day I will be totally free.

I am very disappointed in my mother
Your mother is a victim too. Don't be too hard on her. She is only saying what she has been told to say and feel what she has been told to feel .
I am glad for you for having recognized the org for what it is and have been successful in making a clean break.

Covering Your Tracks
by Poztate ini left the wt in 1982 seeing them for what they were long before the age of the internet.
i bought my first computer in 1997 with windows 95 and netscape 3 for a web browser.. i was naturally curious about the wt and did a search for information.
the information was overwhelming and helped to fill in the areas that i was not aware of.

WOW the lenghts we have to go through to cover our tracts. And for what? Some old men whom i've never met.
Kudos to you Poztate for not taking the easy way out and sticking to your wife. Who knows one day............she will realize too.

Watchtower Internal edition Feb 15, 2008 Jesus presence: Generation ...
by Nick! inthe above magazine which will be for internal use only is said to cover the subject of the new interpretation of the generation and its relationship with the final gathering anointed ones, as already indicated earlier in this forum, according to the rumors heard after the annual meeting.. http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/12/144420/2.ashx.
http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/10/146270/1.ashx.
i just read this information in a foreign forum in another language.. has anyone of you already read the new magazine?.

It's because the foreign language editions are usually released before the English editi
I wonder how this happened. In the 70's 80's the foreign editions were 6 months behind, then3 months and finally we were all getting them simultaneously. Now the foreign are first????
