Feeling sad over a wasted life in watchtower
by wannaexit init's been 12 years since i first read ray franz's books and the scales came off my eyes.
by that time i was in my forties.. since 2002 i went back to school and have worked with 3 very professional organizations.
but my biological clock is ticking away and while my peers are looking forward to retirement, i am only beginning.

Anyone know of df'ing for taking a br. to Court (esp. if Cdn)?
by berrygerry inmost jw's have been told that taking a fellow jw to court is wrong.. the shepherd book uses wts speak: "if an individual ignores god's word on this matter, it may affect his congregation privileges.
" (italics theirs.).
the following are from an interesting case in canada ( link ):.

I can't give out any details, but I do know, for a fact, of a situation where one jw wanted to take another jw to small claims courts and was told that there would be reprecussions. Disfellowshipping was not mentioned but reproval and removal of priviledges.

berrygerry: it would be interesting to know if it comes in the governing body's collective minds that many disappear after decades of "faithful service". I do beleive that the governing body is brain dead and is unable to think things through

To Designs: Thank you
To Joe134cd: glad you got completely out. It certainly is comforting to be part of group that share the same sentiments

You are so right the pressure on kids is relentless. I see jw kids who are wasting their life, doing menial jobs to support their pioneering and not giving another thought to their future.
I hate this organization for what it does to they youth

It's been 12 years since I first read Ray Franz's books and the scales came off my eyes. By that time I was in my forties.
Since 2002 I went back to school and have worked with 3 very professional organizations. But my biological clock is ticking away and while my peers are looking forward to retirement, I am only beginning. I still feel an overwhelming sadness when I reflect on the wasted years.
The best years where I could have explored and developed my talents and creativity were spent in slavery to the watchtower. While my catholic cousins were getting degrees in school and climing the latter of success, I was trudging from door to door. Twenty years of pioneering. Twenty years I will never get back.
I know that ruminating on the past is highly toxic and ineffective- but the sadness surfaces every once in a while.
Thanks for listening

Year 3: Personal Experiences
by Londo111 inhttp://youtu.be/nnnabt9x5lm?list=plynx0om_bmgdobkrzev2tax1jzdquagy8.
this is my third year since i signed up on jwn and i wanted to do something a bit different--a slight unmasking of sorts and greet everyone face to face.
even with the help of a few notes, this is rambling, raw, and by no means the best personal experience video out there.

Saturday morning coffee and a new video...

(at least in my part of the world it is morning).
i am sleeping in and drinking coffee... while on this day five years ago i would have been stuffing my appendages into an ill-fitting suit to go out and stump for wt coffers!
