Ray Franz was an Idiot
by vinman inray franz who gave us insight into the gb due to a crisis of conscience was an absolute moron, with absolutely no critical thinking skills whatsoever like all of us have.
i mean, to have a conscience based on some magic man in the sky.. how stupid can you be?

Royal Commission taking our emails to heart
by wannaexit induring the proceedings of australian royal commission, as many of you, i also took time to share with the office of mr stewart, my thoughts and perspective on what what being said and not said by the witness elders on the stand.
within a day a received a reply from office of angus stewart thanking and appreciating the insight from those on the "inside".
yesterday i received a further email that my correspondence was passed on to case study 29 (jehovah's witnesses) team for their consideration.. it sounds like they are taking all our collective experience and knowledge into account as the commission continues its work..

What were you favorite book in the organization? I know what you're thinking...LOL!
by BashfulAshG inwhat were *your favorite *books in the organization?.
out of all of those books, i liked "mankind's search for god.
" however, it appears to me that this book is incredibly obscure and no one recalls studying it during the old book study format.

I liked many. I was a real cooked jdub:
Faith on the March by Macmillan
Paradise lost to paradise restored
Jehovah's thousand year reign
Babylon the Great has fallen.
Young people ask
Aid to bible understanding
All scripture inspired of god
I can't believe I liked all those books

Guardians of Doctrine.
by Pubsinger ini'm still working my way through the videos..... this has probably been covered before but had anyone else ever heard them use this phrase before?
not me... but it's a clever and as per usual misleading choice of words.. if they are indeed guardians of doctrine, they are very poor ones.
if so jws would believe the same thing now that they did in 1879 and we all know that's not true.

I wonder when they will start calling themselves "guardian angels". It's coming folks. -

Canadian branch getting rid of their trucks and drivers
by wannaexit ina recent letter to the elders outlined the new arrangement for delivering literature to the congregations.
the canadian branch will be downsizing by eliminating drivers and trucks and utilizing commercial carriers to bring the boxes of monthly literature .
more outsourcing and more lay offs.. the funny thing about it is that they want to have the literature delivered to various private homes of the rank and file rather than have the literature delivered to the kingdom hall.

@brandnew: I would venture that its more cost effective to outsource. But rather than tell the congregations the truth , they spin a story that they are preparing for the great tribulation and persecution and this is the reason why they want to deliver to private homes. -

@pepperheart- the Canadian Bethel has already sent home quite a number of people. Some that I personally know thought they were set for life because they had spent 30+ years there. -

The funny thing about it is that they want to have the literature delivered to various private homes of the rank and file rather than have the literature delivered to the kingdom hall. They are willing to pay more for this than the cheaper deal of bulk transport to a singular destination. To cover up this "worldly scheme" , they made up a story about it being better for times of persecution to have the literature delivered to private homes.
Imagine how much better it is to have Canada post or UPS deliver literature from the branch to private homes, yes the government would never know (sarcasm)

In 45 years of association, I've never heard that the gb were the guardian of the doctrines. I did a double take when I heard Jackson say that.
