Thank you, George Couch!
by charonsdog ini just thought i'd share this story from my past.. back in the 80s i remember the big problem seemed to be about music.
(today, it's tight pants, i guess) the organization, society, whatever they were calling themselves, were always going on about the music we listened to.
disco, heavy metal, the whole "backwards masking" thing...couldn't escape hearing or reading about how satan was corrupting us unless we were listening to kingdom melodies or elevator music.. i was assigned to wtf in the late 80s and remember one of the articles stating that "young people know that the rhythm of rock music is the rhythm of sexual intercourse.

I had to get rid of Paul Anka because of the "put your head on your shoulder" song.

You definately are safe here. But not everyone is a witness. Most are ex jehovah's witnesses. But that doesn't mean you cant say and learn something.

the text will be written by the author but will include a minimum of one quote worded by the backer.

I got a bad taste in my mouth a few years ago , when Cedars was asking for funding for his book. Everyone has a right be an activist, but he is going a little too far. He's an opportunist, trying to make a buck. Lost respect for him a long time ago.

The increase in pioneers is probably due to the cart witnessing. It's nothing now to spend 3-4 hours in service standing around.

So my PIMO Younger Brother Tried To Kill Himself Today
by pale.emperor inwe all know that this cult will drive those trying to leave to desperate measures, and today by brother was very nearly one of those statistics.
he slashed his thigh with a kitchen knife and was bleeding out until he called the police.. i got a call on my way home from work from a police officer, coincidentally it was one of my old friends from school who's now a cop.
he told me my brother is in hospital after an attempted suicide and has lost some blood but will be ok. but i should get to the hospital as he's asking for me.

I am very sorry for this situation. I can't imagine what you are feeling right now and also your brother.
Witnesses can be heartless.

They are always railing against education, but when they have someone educated in their midst than they practically fall over themselves with respect for that person. Hypocrites!!!
