That just about sums it up. I also wanted to add your own personal studying. If you are good dub Monday night you are going to be studying your watchtower. Wednesday night you study for the school and service meeting and they you have to fit studying for the book study. Friday night you need to go over the field service presentation.

And I forgot you have to find time to read the daily text and possibly read the whole Bible chapter and the watchtower article that its based on.

It's a treadmill that never allows you off.

Just thinking about it makes me choke.

On Paragraph 9 it that:

Jesus lived and died for the Kingdom

How good of them to say this. The governing body says they are the remnant of that kingdom. So in reality they are saying that Jesus lived and died for them. They have supplanted the position of the King and put the kingdom ahead. Jesus is now secondary to the kingdom.

The blaspheme never ceases to amaze me.

my brother called me today.he is 20 ,3 years younger than me,and out of the religion.he still has fear though that it could be true,but thats another story.. he told me he heard my mother and father talking upstairs.my mother said about the org "ive put 26 years into it,i think i'm done with it,i might just go sunday from now on".this is huge ,because she was a devoted nutjob witness.she made my life horrible for the 1st 17 years of my life.i had been trying to suddly tell her the truth about the troof,but i didn't expect this.i'm happy and yet i want to know where she stands with the borganization.. this along with what seems to be an outpouring of similar stories,i have a gut feeling the jehovahs witness mind control cult is on the brink of implosion.everyone is so burdened by it.the jig is up,gb,good riddance when you fold.the rank and file have had enough.my 2 younger sisters are on the edge of mental freedom.i hope they can fully get free of it.. this is a milestone in my families long and strange trip in mental enslavement!!!!!!!!!!!!

How would a JW handle this? 587 proved correct date for fall of Jerusalem

so i put it out to you who believe the wtbts is the agent used by god's channel on earth based on the belief that in 1919 (3 1/2 years after the gentile times ended in 1914, per pastor russell) they were appointed the fds.. what if it was proved that not 607, but 587 was the date jerusalem was destroyed?

would that affect your faith?

would it matter that the teaching of 1919 turned out to be false?
