just got word that my youngest brother died of pancreatic cancer.
he was diagnosed in early august.
this has been really tough for me and my family..

i've been giving some thought recently to what's going on in the minds of the individual governing body members, and what makes them tick.
the process of listening to their talks for my "getting to know you" youtube video series, though draining, has been very enlightening.
i now feel i know some of their individual personalities a little better than i did previously.. then there has been the tumultuous events of 2012. it's been interesting to note the way the governing body has responded to some of these issues, and how in most cases their responses have been woefully inadequate or even counter-productive as regards their long-term interests.. for example:.

we had to go off grid for a time, time and half a time as we thought we had been outed.
fortunately it was a false alarm, but it was a stressful time.
i asked for my original diary thread to be deleted in case there could be anything on there to identlfy mrs smith and i. i am always very careful when posting, and am sure there was nothing on there, but felt it best to have it removed in order to be as cautious as a dove.
Hey Winston, I enjoyed your first diary. I didn't realize it was down. Glad you went easy and gentle with your wife. Your experience with Mrs. Winston is similar with my own. My hubby(third generation witness and 'serving too') figured things long before I did. But he put on a good show to save the marriage. He would ask a question and then he would step back . this went on for a long time, I was completely blinded and as devout as you could get. (pioneered for over 20 years). Then one day it hit me. The rest is history as they say.

if i asked a jw to research who the f&ds was, i'm assuming that they'd tell me it is the annointed and maybe even provide me with wt literature from that cd explaining this.

I have to agree with Flipper that this new change has been in the works for a while. I couldn't help notice in yesterday wathctowe study that they now have given themselves the title :the kingdom of God.
Well, half of jdubs in the hall I attend all have connections to bethel and got invited to the annual meeting hook up at the canadian branch. It be interesting is any one of them picked up on the "new light"
