on the part of the jwcart, i couldn't help but notice that the cart came out from a nice expensive home.
certainly not a place a window washer would be living in.

Did you go to your prom or belong to a "worldly" club while you were a witness?
by minimus ini didn't go to the prom but i did belong to a chess club until the awake article said it was a war game and suggested true christians wouldn't play such a game.

No prom, no clubs. Once I won a public speaking contest but couldn't go to the next level because it was being held in a church basement

JW in Paso Robles, CA arrested for child porn and lewd acts
by JWCart inhi, the jwcarts heard one of our own might have been arrested for child porn, it's impossible to fathom a witness could do something so cruel and wicked to little children.
i heard a few sisters ask the elders and they told our sisters to keep quite, when i was alone with my pusher, she said hubby knew him and said he thought he was a elder in the paso robles, california congregation.
in human years i am 14 years old (we age fast) because of the break-neck speed of technology, we are soon put to pasture when new models arrive.

What is the furtherest your car group traveled to a return visit that counted as time?
by adjusted knowledge ingrowing up i lived in the middle of florida in the southern part.
i had a friend whose father was an elder, and would stay at their homes during the weekends.
one of the "rules", as we all know jw love rules, was that who ever spent the night had to go out in field service on saturday.

i was in a foreign language group and so we traveled back and forth across the city. I would say the furthest was 1 hour one way.
So travel 1 hour do a few calls and drive 1 hour back.

by Pistoff inthere has been more than a few posts about anthony morris iii and his talk about tight pants, spanx (spandex?
) and bethel as a destination vacation.. after the initial bewilderment and laughing about his diatribe, it is more clear to me that this was not about modest clothing choices, or spiritual priorities.. it was designed and succeeded as a slap in the face of all who listened.. the things he talked about are just not on the normal radar of anyone who listened.. i can recall nowhere in writing that ever encouraged families to go to bethel before disneyworld, mgm, etc; nowhere that talks about leggings or modern cut men's suits (it is just fashion, after all), or women wearing exercise clothing in public.
(on a side note, i have been to assemblies, there are just not many of us who could wear tight clothing and not look like stuffed sausage, so how many people was he aiming at here?).
