  Jackson says "letters to elders are not necessarily coming from the governing body. Its rare a congregation to receive a letter from the governing body. Branches make adjustments to local circumstances. Policy are adjusted locally". Interesting revelation and seems to me trying to distance himself from issue.

  i always sit in the same spot, just outside starbucks in a vestibule area with a table in the air-conditioned space.

  i say "always," but not today.. somebody with two laptops and a table filled with business ledgers was in "my" favorite spot!.

  so, i took a tiny wooden table inside the coffee shop on a long padded bench next to 3 other identical tables.. as the clickbait banner ads like to say: "and what happened next was simply unbelievable!".

  i hope the royal commission will be able to force the jw organization to take a serious look at itself ,and will cause some much needed changes.. i have been following the trial faithfully ,and unfortunately it has dredged up some deep pains from years ago .

  you think some of that old baggage is neatly packed away never meant to see the light of day again .....but then boom there it is again .. hearing what bcg had to go through, and how she felt trying to get help from the elders was heart-wrenching.

  i remember the terrible way young women were treated in the 1970's .
