further from ARC
by zeb inthe royal commission has published 35 submissions received from a range of organisations and individuals in response to its consultation paper: best practice principles in responding to complaints of child sexual abuse in institutional contexts.
the commission received submissions from sector peak bodies, government agencies, survivor advocacy and support groups, religious institutions and other interested parties.
the consultation paper, which was released in march this year, sought input into which matters should be canvassed in a complaint handling policy and how those matters might be addressed, as well as the royal commissionโs suggested best practice principles.

I found this little jem this morning . It's a little dated but describes the self-proclaimed Jesus of Nazareth by the name of A.J Miller. He was raised in the jw religion and was also an elder and pioneer. I guess holy spirit didin't do it's homework when it chose a wacky guy like him.

A JW Father Learns about Blood
by Lee Elder inthis father contacted us a few months ago about his experience with the watchtower's blood policy, and how his daughter nearly died as a result of it.
hopefully, other jw parents can learn from this before the wt policy claims the life of their child.
the wts has very few meaningful interventions or "non blood alternatives" for anemia.

Brought tears to my eyes. Thanks for sharing it. Anything that is beautiful is turned in the ugly by the watchtower.
I hate this organization more and more each day.

Like everything else in this fairytale world, its not realistic to think in the event of an earthquake all the family members could be calm and collected and gather their supplies. or that their electronics would work.
They are so out on left field its laughable. They spend time preparing for the large earthquake, yet give little thought to health and safety at the local level. For example, there are no emergency evacuation procedures posted at the local kingdom halls in case of fire. In the event of an emergency, no one knows what to do. But they have to make a big show for the big earthquake.
Since watchtower ever does anything out of a altruism, I wonder if they are getting grants for the government for instituting emergency preparedness among their ranks.
