  lately there have been ads apparently giving the opportunity to share in keeping this site afloat.

  Trouble registering and logging in

  a friend who had had an account entered her email and was told she wasn't registered under that address.

  she then registered for a new account with her current email and entered a user name and password.

  she never received a confirmation email though she tried three times.

  Who we should look to for "accurate" medical information--Where's the article?

  a number of threads discuss some of the extreme, even bizarre, medical advice that's been given in wtbs publications over the years.

  it's ironic, then, that years ago an awake!

  or watchtower article warned of the need to be on guard regarding certain extreme forms of alternative medicine.

  i feel like an idiot, but what do the icons stand for?

  some are obvious, such as the thumbs up and thumbs down, but others i'm not sure about.

  "Welcome" message wording on .com site

  it's certainly true that the site is "friendly" and "informative".

  i'm concerned about the word "tolerant", however, because some posts can be very blunt and outspoken, and newcomers might not be expecting them to be that way.

  perhaps it would be well to add something along the lines of "spirited" or "straightforward" discussion in the welcome message, so newbies won't be surprised and possibly turned off before they see all the site has to offer..
