Hi All
Well my man and I have been talking about getting engaged.
We have been looking at engagement rings and trying them on etc.
Now I wont know when he has chosen the ring or is going to propose but he wants some suggestions as to how I would like to be proposed to.
I thought it might be interesting to find out how you proposed/were proposed to/ or would like to be proposed to....
Look forward to your replies. I am such a romantic!!!! If you have any pictures of the event that would be nice to.

How was your new years day spent??
by kelpie inhappy new year all..... i hope your new year had a better start then mine did.. my partner and i stayed up to 2am new years day to welcome in the new year in a way neither of us could before.. we were really looking forward to our sleep in when we were rudely awoken by my visiting father at 6am to say that we better get downstairs quick smart!!.
we walk down the stairs to see nearly a foot of water through the bottom of our house!!!!!!!!!!.
our hot water system decided to pack it in and break its seals thus water through the house.

My Dad is the only elder in his congregation. There are no MS's or anything.
He is the one that told the local elders where I live about my situation...
He told me that he has to set the example!
Yeah right

A new year ... a new start ...
by Simon inwell, 2002 comes to a close and it's been a busy year.. we have had over 380,000 posts!
in them we've laughed, we've cried, we've celebrated and commiserated, we've fallen out and made up and we've seen new people come and people move on.. what's to come in 2003?.
well, some changes .... the new forum is nearly ready (though i expect will never be 'finished' lol) and i think it is a good opportinity to do some things differently and make a 'fresh start'.. i have incorporated features that will allow me to give other people the chance to get involved running the site so it becomes less 'mine' and more 'ours'.
