this rollerdave guy, is he for real?.
i mean, the guy just seems larger than life and has so much drama going on, and now there's more of them with the introduction of the wife/gf and daughter characters you gotta wonder.. do any of you have any real experience with this joker?.
are the wife and daughter just him in a wig and a falsetto?.

firefighters / doctors / plumbers / lawyers / teachers / electricians / students / bartenders / accountants / landscapers / computer techs / fast food workers / military personel / janitors / office administrators / telemarketers / graphic designers / artists / pest control techs / pizza drivers / bar backs / bartenders / waiter/waitresses / managers / carpet cleaners / painters / car detailers / investors.....etc, etc, etc...my fingers are out of breathe!.
--and who's retired???.
I work at a casino ~ I pretend like I know what's going on ~ rather like I do in the Werewolf games. hmm...

i don't post very often, but i read every day.
i don't know if this trevor and linda thing is a hoax or not, but if it is i hope it doesn't cause people to leave the board.
don't let one bad apple spoil the whole bunch, because you all are a great bunch of folks.
I would agree that this is a great group on JWD.
I posted this on another thread, thought I would share it here, also...
Know that the people of JWD are wonderful, compassionate individuals for showing such concern to someone they felt was in need.
Know that if the accusations are true, it was him who did something wrong, not the people who cared.
Know that the issue is his, not ours.

ok so this will be the first xmas i have ever celbrated, i have no idea what to do, my man and his family are really into it and have traditions they have always kept to, and i love my new family and being involved in it all, but i havent a clue where to start!
who to buy what for, how much do i spend?
what cards do i buy?
just maybe what do i take?
Ask mom-in-law what she wants you to bring... easiest way to solve that problem, by far!
Yesterday i bought my frist xmas tree decorations, and a star to go on the top!!
I *love* decorating for Christmas. I have to have a real tree every year and lights on the house. Poor Mike is forced to go out the day after Thanksgiving every year and put them up no matter the weather. Everything goes up the day after Thanksgiving if possible because, well, I just can't wait any longer than that ;) Jackie

Will have to have a look at those websites that do personalizing gifts.
Lillian Vernon has some nice personalized things if you're looking to order online... and I've used them several times with no issues.

Sometimes a fun gift is something to do together. For instance, you could buy tickets to an upcoming concert he would enjoy.
noni's suggestion of the gift cards can be good for people you don't know too well... but I always like to get a small something to go along with them... like nice warm fuzzy socks for the ladies.

Buy what you think someone will love, within your budget. Buy cards you like or that you think they will like. A simple "Merry Christmas, BB" would suffice unless you wish to personalize and add more. Since his family has traditions already, are you certain you need to buy Christmas dinner? Perhaps you'll be eating at his family's house.
In the end, do what feels right and fun. Let people know this is your first Christmas and they will understand. Don't stress out about it, enjoy it for what it is... a time to spend with loved ones.
