She is just a girl who has already decided she doesn't believe in this malarchy, but is forced to pretend so that she doesn't lose all her friends and family. Very nice. Is that her fault? I hardly think so. And good point as always from Alan F. My only advice is the same as Yeru. It's much harder being on your own than you could ever imagine. I moved out when I was 17 too, and I learned alot the hard way. If you are really serious about moving out please be smart, at least save up as much money as you can. You will need a good nest egg at the very least. Good luck to you.

In order to really stand apart from the world, the org has now decided that everyone has to shave their heads, and write a big JW in perm marker on their heads. This way they will be easily identified at the Big A. I mean we would hate for God to get confused. Rumors are funny. Here in town there is a chinese buffet. They got closed down cause a man saw a cockroach run across his plate. Well he was disgusted and told them he would not pay for his meal, but they were rude to him and threatened to call the police if he didn't pay. He was so mad he told anybody and everybody who would listen about this incident, and ended up getting them shut down for a short time. I know this is the real story because I know this man. Anyway, alot of people found out that the restaurant was closed down, and at first I heard several people retelling the story. Apparently there had been a cat carcass found in the trash. Then about 3 weeks later a friend was telling me that he heard a family was eating and a cat carcass fell from the ceiling onto their table. I had to laugh.

I think some do think it's neat to attain different levels. I don't think there is anything wrong with that. We can't be serious all the time, I think giving it too much thought is overrated. Some people spend alot of time here, and they get excited when they feel acknowledged for that. It doesn't make anybody feel better than anyone else I don't think, except for I have noticed a little prejudice against newbies. But I think that may be born out of cautiousness too. Either way, I think it's harmless fun.

I think that Pugs are the greatest. Luther is a wonderful name, I am also a big fan. All your animals are soooo cute, but pugs still rule!I remebered my uncle adopted a greyhound many years ago, and something that someone else said here jogged my memory. They left him alone in a room when they went out for the evening and when they returned he had gone nuts. I guess they are fairly well known for not enjoying being left alone too much.

I see Borgfree- I may have misunderstood you. I agree that overly PC behavior is not the way to repair race relations. I am not offended by the term indian at all, I just usually say Native American out of habit. I believe it is what you do, not what you say which makes the difference.

Borgfree-I was joking by my comment, because I consider the idea of reparations really stupid. But I was a little offended by your comments about Native Americans. I know that alot of people have Native American roots of some kind, but I am a card carrying member of the Choctaw Nation. So, I do not say that because 100 years ago someone may have dated a guy who was one fourth Native American and now I can claim ancestry.
