I actually get asked that question from time to time. We tan too. lol I just don't stay out in it as long. 30mins is enough for me. My mother is a darker tone, so she doesn't sunbathe for tanning purposes really. But she still likes to sunbathe for other reasons. And plus it just feels good if not overdone. But that goes for anybody. The sun feels good to me, and plus it provides vitamin D like it was mentioned.
And EVERYBODY should wear sunblock, no matter what race. Safety first.

Does Jehovah God Mean Anything To You Any Longer???

I'm not quite sure. God still means something to me. But it took me a long time to stop saying "Jehovah" every other word when I prayed. It was so routine and deeply rooted into me since I was a baby.

ok, this probably won't sound like a big deal to some people but i'm pretty chuffed with it .... our washing machine broke earlier in the week, refusing to drain, and we were facing the typical 100+ for someone to come out and fix it.

it's already broken a couple of times (i'm sure they reset some 'breakdown timer' hidden inside .

Man... I wish people stop trying to tell him leave the woman. That's the exact advice people gave my boyfriend and caused all kinds of hell in our relationship. Even when I was slowly making my way out all I hear is their mouth "Oh you need to just leave her." And they don't even know me or what is really going on in our relationship. Only he can judge whether he can handle it and if she may change...
It pisses me off everytime people do that.... Cut the girl some slack. She obviously is stepping out of bounds by even being with a catholic. Whether she's trying to pull him in or not... nobody knows but CC! And it's up to him alone to decide to stick it through or not.

CC, I wouldn't necessarily say to leave her. Nobody can, because nobody here can say what's in her heart. You know her and you love her. But if you choose to hang in there... it won't be easy. Because I was in the same situation as she was in. So I know how it feels.
I went through years of hell for being with my "worldly" boyfriend. Once the cat was out of the bag and my family knew, it was hell for us. But we are still together after 8 years. And I'm thankful he stuck by me because I was a stubborn jw for a while. I am no longer a jw because I finally realized it wasn't the truth. I saw how he was treated and everything else I came to see shortly after.

i just discovered onion radio today.. actually i always knew it was there but never paid attention to it.

but since i gutted my pc recently and did not re-up music match jukebox this time, i've been listening to launch via yahoo.

this morning i tuned into "onion river radio" and i really like it a lot.
