  "I got a hundred dollar bill on my privates," he said

  "What the hell were you thinking?" she said, shaking
  her head in disdain.
  "Why on earth would an accountant get a hundred dollar
  bill tattooed on his privates?"
  "Well, one, I like to watch my money grow.
  Two, once in a while I like to play with my money.
  Three, I like how money feels in my hand.
  And, lastly, instead of you going out shopping, you can stay right
  here at home and blow a hundred bucks anytime you want."

  Would you go to a funeral at the Kingdom Hall?

  so my brother and i have been having talks about what will happen when our dad passes away eventually.

  most of his brothers and sisters have died in their 50's or early 60's.

  i flat out refuse to attend any part of the service that would be done at the kingdom hall.

  You should go to your parents funeral no matter where its being held.......its your mum or dad.

  I would definitely go.....so what if anyone feels uncomfortable.

  If you dont go, they will still say, ......."he couldnt even go to the hall for his dads funeral".

  You wont win.

  does anyone have a listen of convention dates for australia?

  don't be concerned fellow friends i'm not considering going back to the vommit;) it's just that i couldn't afford to go to the commedy festival this year, poor student and all that, and thought i could do with a good cheap laugh:) seriously though, i'd love a list of dates if anyone could provide one.

  Very interesting.

  one section especially was the following that i just dont understand.

  To comfort these, the WTS has to once again stress the resurrection and remind the faithful that the Bible only promises this to the great crowd as a group and not to individuals. Neat way to cover all the bases.

  How can it be promised to a group and not to individuals when it is individuals that make up the group.

  ARE JW SISTERS ALLOWED TO CARRY COFFINS?

  recently i was amazed to read in another thread that jw females are not even allowed to walk up and down the aisles counting those in attendance.

  the poster said jw women literally "don't count" - a brilliant play on words.

  i guess i had never thought about it before, but it got me wondering about all the behind-the-scene work jw females do, but their invisibility in the public arena.

  My mothers coffin was in the hall (she was cremated), my friends coffin was in the hall and there are others.

  I personally, have never seen an open coffin in a KH

  I watched the show this morning..

  It seems that the elders just dont care and why is it that the victim is made to feel guilty....The girl that confronted the elder "john".....she was in a state......actually shaking and quivering while confronting him..

  I found that very heart wrenching.

  I know there will be witnesses watching that show thinking its all lies.....how blind they are.
