i am posting this information mainly for new ones just coming out of the borg.
it gives good evidence, that the watchtower lied about wanting a library card from dpi--with the u.n. most everybody on this forum knew about this ages ago.. believe me, the easiest way to find this information, is to type in words for the matching site and then click--go--because i have tried the urls, and several of them just take you right back to the main page of (wikipedia) and then you have to really work at typing in a bunch of other stuff, which gets to be tiresom.. the watchtower society certainly didn't need or want a library card to access any information from this organization---because they started the organization.

TheOldHippie:
My post (did not) make claim that they were a U.N.--NGO. My post only stated that they were a Non Governmental Organization operating disaster relief. Lets face it,--an NGO is still an NGO no matter (who) you are associating with. The literature you posted in your reply is (all Watchtower) literature. You don't really think they are going to admit that they are an NGO in their own litewrature,--do you? Watchtower Observer (would not) make the same statement if the facts were not there.
But still--I thank you for your insight and interest,--please keep up the good work TheOld Hippie, and thank you once again.---Voyager

TheOldHippie:
From the Wikipedia Web page:
The French Branch Office of Jehovah's Witnesses operates a (non governmental organization) known as AidAfrique, which provides material help to Witnesses in Africa after disasters. During the war in the former Yugoslavia, Witnesses from Austria and the Federal Republic of Germany provided material assistance to fellow believers in Sarajevo, as well as other localities, some risking their lives to drive the aid truck through the war zone. Witness literature occasionally publishes reports on the progress of such efforts.
This is the information I went by.---Thanks--Voyager

I checked other sites, like Watchtower Observer, and AidAfrique is listed over there as a NGO also. Perhaps there is just a problem in getting old information off the web. Or maybe they have become an NGO with time--or used to be a NGO and perhaps no longer are. One thing is for sure, Iam not the only one to have found the same information.--Thanks--Voyager

At the site that I described to you, they are listed as a (Non Governmental Organization). I knew the information was (old) but if circumstances have changed within time, then perhaps they are no longer an NGO. But because they are still (listed as such on the page I provided you), then that information is what I was going by. If the information is indeed (incorrect) please allow me to be the first to apologize sincerely for my error.---Voyager--Thank you Sir.

Hi everyone:
I am posting this information mainly for new ones just coming out of the Borg. It gives good evidence, that the Watchtower lied about wanting a library card from DPI--with the U.N. Most everybody on this forum knew about this ages ago.
Believe me, the easiest way to find this information, is to type in words for the matching site and then click--Go--because I have tried the urls, and several of them just take you right back to the main page of (Wikipedia) and then you have to really work at typing in a bunch of other stuff, which gets to be tiresom.
The Watchtower Society certainly didn't need or want a library card to access any information from this organization---because THEY STARTED THE ORGANIZATION. Known as (AidAfrique). Non Governmental Organization.
Type in these words--(Practices of Jehovah's Witnesses-Wikipedia) and click--Go. Then look for the matching website with those exact same words. When the information comes up,--scroll down to the 2nd paragraph under (Disaster Relief).

Thank you GaryBuss for the display. It will probably make it easier to find for some folks. The Watchtower seems to be very good at hiding their name behind several pages of information.---Thanks Gary---Voyager
