in a recent post (http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/67537/1051937/post.ashx#1051937) new directives to congregations by the wts included: it also suggests that the owners of all local old folks homes be contacted to provide a "free weekly bible discussion" to all elderly who want to attend in the home.

this is to be a planned weekly event to increase the number of studys pioneers hold and "provide a valuable service to the community" the society expect to see bible studies go up by 25% this year.. .

well, it is nice for us to get this heads up from the brothers?, isn't it?

I have not heard of the (Reverse Morgage) plan you mentioned. But I do know that even if the nursing home takes (every bit) of an elderly persons Social Security or retirement funds, there are other funds that (could be) untouched, --that the Watchtower would (love to get) their hands on.

My Grandmother was 105 when she died. The Nursing Home took every penny of her money except for someone coming into the nursing home to take care of her hair needs. Just before she died, she left me an inheritance---that neither I nor anyone in our family even knew about.

The sum of 96 dollars was in a safety deposit box, that we were unaware that she even had. When the Elderly are vunerable and speak their inner most secrets to Elders, because they know they are dying, then this opens up many (chances) for the Watchtower, to steal right from Safety Deposit Boxes, Wills, Property Deeds, and other ways that the Watchtower uses to manipulate and prey on elderly. All it takes is a (signiture) and a witness. And everything could be gone. After all, hasn't the Watchtower tried ---and done this before? How many Elders have we read about---who were caught doing this very thing to the Elderly?

Doesn't the Watchtower list (Wills, Valuables, deeds, property, and anything else it can get its hands on--in its description of (Contributions) in the Watchtower Magazine? SVU

There are a lot of (SLY) benefits in this for the Watchtower---yet a lot of (DANGERS) in this for the elderly. First:

The Elderly have to be (signed out) of the Nursing Home. This gives the Watchtower a (record) on paper, that they are providing a (Community Service as required by Charities).

Some elderly have to be given (shots) or (medications) at designated times. If they are (at a home Bible Study), then there is a risk that medications (will not) be given at the proper times that are supposed to be given.

Medications would (not) be given to the elderly at the right time, and if it is given, then it would be given to them by those (not qualified) to do so.

The Elderly would be exposed to (weather conditions) and other conditions, they have not been used to for quite some time.

What if one were to die, while at a Home Bible Study. Is the Watchtower or the JWs going to take responsibility?

Is there going to be a qualified person at (every book study) trained in CPR?

Who would take the responsibility of emptying urinal bags, and other personal requirements that many of the elderly need?

Isn't this also another way for the Watchtower to make (false claims) on Bible Study (increases), so that this can be publically reported in writing in their next publications?

What if the elderly are asked to (sign papers) while they are at a Home Bible Study?

Every bit of this reeks with $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ for the Watchtower, and (Dangers) for the Elderly. Great post Skully, Keep up the good work.--SVU

Thank you for the information Scully. This will in deed give a good warning to the community, and the old folks homes will be more alert as to who is coming inside their facilities. My father is in a nursing home, and he rarely gets a visit from (any) of the witnesses, but now because of this directive, he may get a couple of elders to visit. So I will be calling the nursing home to give them the warning about JW pedophiles.----Thanks---SVU

did in 1918- 1919.. let me put this bluntly: they're lying about their history.. the watchtower and its bible students weren't expecting - or looking for - christ's.

presence in 1914 - 1919. why?.

because they believed and taught that christ's second presence began in 1874!.

This is really excellent information. Its information like this, that will get a JW to thinking on their own and start investigating. The (replies) to your post also have fantastic information that can blow holes in the Watchtower's theories, and interuptations.

You guys are really doing some great work on choosing what topics to use to strike up interest. And once the interest starts, then usually the JW will take it upon themself to check out other topics as well.

When you start blowing holes in the FDS, then the JW usually begins to buckle at the knees.

Thank you so very much for your assistance in presenting the information. District Overbeer is very busy at times, and if I had all of his responsibilities, then I would forget now and then also. To tell you the truth,---I don't have (HALF) of his responsibilities, and I STILL forget. He does a great job. If I could do 1/2 of what he gets done, then I would be a happy man.
