he told me that if i wanted to find out information about the watchtower and the united nations, then i would need to start typing in (numbers) instead of letters and words into my search engines.
here is what he told me!-----see below:.

I had sent the post to Randy for him to post, then I thought that he was to busy so I went ahead and posted it, then come to find out that (both) of us had posted it.
Thanks!

You really need to read Mission To Africa published by the Watchtower Society (before) you start thinking that there are (no) relationships With the U.N. and the Watchtower!
Here is a quote from their own literature:
Our activity was often hindered by difficulties particular to the region. Distances are vast and lines of communication almost nonexistent. The best form of travel, if not the only one, is the airplane. Often we used the H.C.R.'s (United Nations High Commission for Refugees) planes.
Thanks!

Displaced Persons or Refugees, so don't think that there are (no) relationships until you have read (Mission To Africa) written by the Watchtower Society, where they (admit) their U.N. relationships!-----------See highlighted portion below:

The WHO home page is here: Then just follow the instructions I was given. http://www.who.int/en/ http://www.who.int/en/ My little cousin who was never a JW works at Patrick Air Force Base, and every so often he has access to a computer the size of a Mac Truck! And to think that I used to bounce that little brat on my knee!
i'm fairly new here, so please excuse me if this has been discussed before.
it seemed like an appropriate time to bring this up.. suppose we accept that there really was a man jesus, rabbi, teacher, etc., but just a mortal man.
so if he didn't resurrect, what happened to the body, and how was the "myth" of the resurrection perpetuated, especially in light of the numerous "witnesses" (some of whom were still alive when the accounts were written, if we can believe that part of the accounts) and the effect this had on their lives?
Watchtower/1953/Sept/1st/page-518/states, quote:
JESUS?
FLESHLY BODY DISSOLVEDWhat happened to the perfect fleshly body of Jesus after his death? Was it preserved so that in time men will look upon it in worship? or does Jesus still have this fleshly body in the heavens, "spiritualized" so that it can be seen and worshiped? Neither. The Scriptures answer: It was disposed of by Jehovah God, dissolved into its constituent elements or atoms.
Jesus was the antitype foreshadowed by Moses, the great mediator and leader of the congregation of Israel. God himself disposed of Moses? body by burial, and "no man knoweth of his sepulchre". (Deut. 34:5, 6) Later, one of the Christian writers says that Michael had a dispute with the Devil over the body of Moses. (Jude 9) The Devil desired to get the body of Moses the great leader and to use it as an object of worship to draw the Israelites away from their true invisible Commander and Leader, Jehovah God. With stronger desire the Devil wanted to obtain the fleshly body of Jesus after his death to induce some to worship it and use it for indecent false religious purposes, thus reproaching Jehovah God. But Jehovah thwarted the Devil?s purpose in both cases by disposing of the bodies of these two faithful men.
Moses? body returned to the dust by process of decay, as all human bodies do, but not so in Jesus? case, for it is written: "For thou wilt not leave my soul to Sheol; neither wilt thou suffer thy holy one to see corruption." (Ps. 16:10, AS; Acts 2:31) So God caused Jesus? body to disappear, but not corrupt, meaning that it was dissolved, disintegrated back into the elements from which all human bodies are made.?John 20:1-13.
the following blurp occurs in the elizabethtown, kentucky news:.
"for one local group of christians, it's the only time they partake of a bread and wine ceremony.
the elizabethtown jehovah's witnesses won't actually eat and drink what they call the emblems, said secretary oliver edwards.

Loved it! Got a good laugh over that one.

some people felt that if the congregation in jacksonville was going to have their memorial advertised in the newspaper, that they would have requested to have it listed on a different page than the "easter" listings of christendom!.
The threads work, but the words in the article disappeared after I clicked the submit button.
Oh well! I guess some articles are just that way!
Thanks!

But then again, they used to not want the Kingdom Hall listed under (Churches), in the yellow pages. But now, nothing seems to be said about it. Progressively JWs are conforming to the ways of the world that they condemn ,and in many ways, they have become (worse) than the world!
It is really no big deal, but sometimes I wonder if we would find some of the listings that we do if today was 1960 instead of 2005!

Either that, or they will have to double up with another congregation. I guess it all depends on how bad the damage was. So where is all of that (angelic) protection awyway?
Thanks ohiocowboy!
