I don't think that's the same "Depressions" that are portrayed in the WT magazine. The society probably made them up and ended up with a coincidence. Also, I can't find "The Depressions" on youtube.
BTW, what's that other one - the CD? The one that looks like it says "GOMGO".

can you help me find an Absurd Picture from my Young People Ask Past?
by whitedeer inthere are so many aspects to the sweet jw lifestyle that i find laughable, but one of the most infuriating/embarassing/hysterically funny is the many "glorious and rich illustrations" created for our precious publications.
how many sundays did i sit and bite my finger when a congregation of 70 people would pick apart a badly painted scene of ancient israel and make endless comments about every banal detail?
each trying to "learn" a more special aspect to the sandal a priest is wearing or a censor of incense and its greater significance.

i got mine saturday and the first thing that caught my eye was the crown of thorns.. does anybody remember when the jw's used to insist that the crown of thorns was intended to humiliate, but not inflict pain and that the catholic church had it all wrong when they showed the thorns piercing flesh?.

Patti Smith did a LOT of work with Blue Oyster Cult (which is how I got introduced to her). She sang a duet on "Revenge of Vera Gemini" and wrote Debbie Denise, Shooting Shark, Fire of Unknown Origin, and probably some other BOC tunes that escape me right now.
