Surely this rumor is an outright lie or half-truth.

Cool computer tool
by free2beme ini work in the internet business and often hear people tell me that they have this great internet speed and then complain how their computer seems to go slow on the internet.
while it can be viruses and spy ware, often it is you not getting the speed you were promised or pay for from your cable, dsl or wireless provider.
test it from time to time and call your provider if you are not getting what you were promised.

TRS-80 Model I
Oh the joys of loading from cassettes. The volume on the cassette player had to be at the right level, as well as the tone control (if any) or else your software would load filled with bugs, or wouldn't load at all.
My second was a Vic-20, but it was the C-64 that I spent most of my time on. The PC-XT in the other room collected dust since the sound and graphics were no match for the Commodore. -

Last night, I put up a new blog entry about Opening Exercises in schools. Incidently, I have an actual recording that was used in a school. (You can listen to it here: http://classicalgasemissions.blogspot.com and feel free to rise for them too!). I think it's kindof ironic that as a former JW, I actually have a recording of this (which I obtained when I was still a JW).
In High School, we were sent to a 'special room' where all banished JWs go so they can sit through the opening exercises. Everyone in the class wondered why I came in late each day.
When I was in Grade 10, before I switched schools, I was going through my doubting period. Occasionally, I'd stay in class for the opening exercises. I think the teacher knew I was going through this and seemed to be really cool with my indecision of whether I would stay in class or go to the JW Jail.
When I switched schools, I made the decision to NEVER leave the class for the opening exercises again. I remember the first time I did so. It was a weird feeling, but yet a feeling of excitement, moving onto a new path of life.
Do any of you have specific memories about opening exercises in school? -

Today, I decided to go donate blood for the second time ever.
It's really weird. I don't normally volunteer for anything, but I happily volunteer to donate blood. I almost feel it's my duty as an ex-JW, just to help make up for all the JWs who don't donate.
Do any of you feel the same way? -

Should I try internet dating? Does it work?
by Witness 007 insoon i will be seperated and although i will have a break from women i thought about dating web-sites......i don't know how else to do it..

Internet dating is much like dating in the real world. The only difference is you have one step added: getting the person offline and meeting them in the real world.
If you're not well versed in real life dating, you won't be well versed in internet dating.
