I don't think it's unfair at all. They are continually trying to pull the rug of reality from under people's feet. I personally enjoy trying to pull the rug of fantasy from under their feet.

Is There Anything in Life That You Truly Regretted?
by minimus inone thing that stands out for me is how i never went to my own grandmother's burial because, after all she was dead and during the day she died it was on a thursday night and i had 2 parts to handle so i performed them well and at the end gave the congregation, "a progress report" of how my grandmother had been doing since she was in the hospital, suffering from cancer.
that evening i told the congregation that she had died that afternoon.
many people cried at that point but later i was commended by many for not missing a meeting that evening.......

I agree with Mrs. Shakita. Not regretting anything doesn't necessarily mean that you don't learn from your mistakes. If you realize the mistakes you made, and learn how to prevent them from happening again, the mistake you've made have actually benefitted you. Therefore, the mistakes you made were actually a good thing.
If you spend your time dwelling on the past, you're never going to move ahead into the future.
Also, if you keep a positive attitude about everything, it will benefit you as a person, and people will start to look up to you as a wise person.

Did you cheat on your monthly report?
by JH ini was always honest with my field service reports, until the time when an elder came over to give me hell because i had only 1 hour that month in the field service.
i told him that i was working 50 hours a week, had a 4 day district convention that month and couldn't do miracles that month.
he never accepted my explanation.. .

I was brutally honest. 1 hour per month! Never really got harassed though. I was a new publisher for a long time. The brothers saw I was having difficulty speaking at the doors, so they were quite forgiveable. The most I ever put down was 9 hours. I think in all the time I was a publisher, I placed 1 magazine.

I've got so many things to list. I was talking to my girlfriend on the phone. My mother picked up and asked "Who are you talking to?" I told her some name of a guy in the congregation. After she hung up, I continued talking to my girlfriend. My mother picked up again and heard her voice. "You're talking to a girl! When you lie to me, you lie to Jehovah".
She used to snoop through my room and come up with some lame ass excuse. I'd come home, and my things would be re-arranged. She'd give me that line "You should have nothing to hide". I used to record my phone conversations on tape, and then I'd hide them. She found the damn things, and listened to ever one of them. Did I ever hear about that one! After that, I gutted an old VCR, and hid all my "questionable" material in there.

Yes, the last
centuriesdays are drawing to a close! We will soon be living in the days of Armageddon. Anyone who is not a JW in the forecoming days, including relatives, newly born and unborn children, and our beloved pets will not survive. What a wonderful blessing this will be from our loving heavenly father!Just think of the wonderful privelage it will be to remove the carcasses of our dead family members from the earth! Everyone will be smiling and having a great time.
Damn, that really puts things in perspective.
