  Do you have a JW hero?

  when i say jw hero i mean a jw who courageously did what was right despite the indoctrination and peer pressure to conform to cultishness.

  i have an unknown jw hero that i've never met but only heard of from an experience relayed to me about an incident at a jw funeral.. i was told that at a jw funeral internment, a non-jw put a wreath in the shape of a cross on the grave.

  shortly thereafter a jw elder came up and removed the wreath.

  Just found out my older brother has passed away

  i have just found out that my brother (who was one of a bunch that shared this login) has died.. he and his wife were living in another country where they once pioneered.

  i didn't see him that often.. such an empty feeling.....

  We Lost Our Preaching MOJO, how do we get it back?

  does anyone have any theories why our territory that's be reduced six or seven times over the last twenty years is not covered anymore?

  we use to cover our area in less than six months and now nobody really keeps track of how the preaching work by territory is going.

  is the advent of the mobile-literature machine why we don't see a zealous preaching spirit?

Is the advent of the mobile-literature machine why we don't see a zealous preaching spirit? Why are Witnesses not zealous anymore, are they burned out, have they lost sight of the prize?

  Instead of working the territories to death, "we worked them to life" so why does it take over three years to complete our territory when we have three times the JWs living here? The sluggish slave won't make Jehovah's faithful slave happy, what are we going to do to get people motivated to preach more?

  Because the preaching work is over? It appears to be over now.

  Does anyone have a copy of the current Watchtower bylaws for Pennsylvania and/or NY? I found a copy of the Amended Charter and Certificate of incorporation dated 2003 at the site below, but not the current bylaws:

  Annointed 144k only male?

  I disagree with the following statement made by Hold Me-Thrill Me:

  I'm saying Jehovah's Witnesses are not following the Christ. They follow men. This makes them a false Christian religion.

  This is a blanket statement. Not all of Jehovah's Witnesses follow men. I said in response to you, "Jehovah may be cleaning house." You agreed that Jehovah may be cleaning house.

  In resigning as Directors of the WTBTS the GB clowns don't realize the power and control that they have given up so all that remains to them is to have faith and trust that the WTBTS will do their bidding.

  Legal terms do get beyond me and I might be wrong regarding the following thoughts but there is also more wording in the Charter that should be closely examined, that is the phrase "and do any and all other lawful things"

  “The purposes of the corporation are religious, educational, and charitable, including to act as the servant and legal entity for the religious body of Christian persons known as Jehovah’s Witnesses;… and do any and all other lawful things that its Board of Directors, in accordance with the spiritual direction of the ecclesiastical Governing Body of Jehovah’s Witnesses, shall deem appropriate in harmony with those purposes.”
