  Are Bethelites Buying and Preparing their own Food?

  samuel herd made the following statement at the 2015 annual meeting regarding the reduction of services at bethel.. we will be reducing personnel at bethel.

  some bethel family members will be invited to serve in the field.

  in addition to their regular work, bethel family members will be caring for many of the services that were previously provided by fellow bethelites.. .

  Apparently, this Governing Body will have very nice accommodations built for themselves and their wives at the new complex in Warwick (if the rumor quoted below is true):

  2-3 weeks ago Br Losch came to 'bid' on his 'room' which was specifically designed for him. You probably know this but they aren't really rooms, they are like goddamn apartments. With 2 bedrooms, 2 baths (I think?), a balcony, kitchen, an office and lounge area/living with a tv. Each gb member has one specifically designed for him. So, losch was given a lakeside view room. He rejected the room and said he wanted a (bleeped) mountainside view, what a prick.

  Does anyone know if the Bethelites will have to prepare their own food? Also, will Bethel provide the food as well as give them access to the kitchen facilities?

  If the Bethelites have to prepare their own food and, in some cases, buy their own food, the Governing Body and their wives should be required to do the same.
  

  It should be required that their wives (or GB) should prepare their own food, do their own laundry, and clean their own rooms. Bethelites should not be required to provide these services for them. The reduction in services should apply to them as well.

  Tanzania News Update

  i wanted to share with you some feed back from this region.

  since you could say tanzania and other regions within africa are the last hard to reach places on the earth.

  it is where the www preaching work funds are directed, as being justified to get your donations.there are now no longer any foreigners at the branch within tanzania, they all were told to go.

  There are NO longer and Missionaries within Tanzania.
  

  What do the Brothers think, What are they saying?.

  They don't easily get to watch the jw. org videos here due to funds.
  

  They are just shaking their heads, They are Depressed and Down.

  They are asking what is the problem, Why is Jehovah deserting us. They are starting to look stupid and they don't like it.
  

  This is going to backfire hugely on the organization as it looks like they were suckered in.

  Looks as though the preaching work is coming to an end (if it hasn't already) and this GB may not be aware of it.

  Well it's a claim that can never be proven!
  

  So are they "anointed for heavenly rulership"? How can it be proven? Have any who have died ever sent a message or sign showing "hey! I made it!"?

  Of course not.

  No one will know for sure.

  The GB should seriously consider the possibility of not receiving a resurrection. Once they fall asleep in death, they will not rise up in heaven or earth; they are no more.

  What if no one on the Governing Body is truly anointed? What if they just proclaim they are anointed and partake in order to gain authority, but they are not anointed? What will happen to them when they die? Will they be resurrected? Or, will they cease to exist?

  Anyone on the Governing Body who proclaim to be of the anointed, yet they are not, will have to face the possibility of non-existence.

  i recently read alan feuerbacher's life story at https://ad1914.files.wordpress.com/2014/09/why-i-am-no-longer-a-jehovah.pdf, and something struck me.

  perhaps someone else here has addressed it before, but i think it's worth bringing up.

  on p. 16 he mentions a 10-hour meeting he had with a man studying and two ny jw heavyweights at the home of one, rick tunon.

  Cliff Notes on Construction Halt/Bethel Layoffs

  i don't follow the board nearly as closely as i did years ago and i've only seen scattered and seemingly contradictory threads on construction delays and bethel layoffs.. anyone care to briefly summarize the latest for those of us who haven't closely followed the various threads?

  Everything but the big projects halted or downsized. Selling off RBC equipment. Bethelites and SP being sent home en masse. Printing of mags halted in India. Local congregations being consolidated, khs being sold. People are leaving just as fast as they are getting baptized. The GB dont like doing JWbroadcast. And documents are being shredded everywhere.

  Ha! That's it in a nut shell.

  Is it true? Heard a rumor WT postphones Disfellowshipping until further notice!!??

  i am not sure if it's true but i heard from a good source that wt has given instructions to elders to postponed disfellowshipping members from wrong doing/gross sin until further instructions given by headquarters.

  i heard some jws were just reproved either privately or publically.

  has anyone else heard anything like this recently?

  ROKU Maybe damaging TVs

  using a roku may damage the color on tv sets.

  it appears to change the color phase to magenta.. has anyone else noticed this problem on their tvs while using a roku?

  Roku 3 is causing a problem. Will check more into the firmware fix and see if it will solve the problem.
