by Alive! inthe early apostles were always on the front line from scriptural accounts.. they led the ministry, enthusiastically speaking in high places, in market places to courts and kings relying on the 'power of the spirit' and constantly were in danger for their lives.
they put their very souls at risk.
they promised that they did not circulate amongst the early disciples with clever 'smooth ' words but with works of power.

Can anyone show me modern day GBs ( since Russells time) who have died from refusing blood transfusions and/ or obeying God rather than men?
The question that we should ask is if anyone on the Governing Body is truly anointed? There are many partaking today who proclaim to be anointed. The Governing Body partake the same as over 15,000 other of Jehovah's Witnesses.
What proof do they have that they, the seven, are God's chosen ones to lead God's Congregation?

Why the Governing Body caught a frightful fright
by Saintbertholdt init has been extensively reported on the forum that there has been a marked increase in effort over the past two years by the governing body of jehovah's witnesses to encourage an increase in monetary donations.
this has also been accompanied by the stripping of financial capital from the local congregations.
as has also been reported on this forum, this has in all probability been done to facilitate the financing of the vast new hq building project as well as the financing of the shift from a publishing company to becoming an internet based charismatic multimedia company which produces lame pixar/disney animation knock offs while simultaneously parading the governing body's ever expanding waistlines, blingy accoutrements and stupid grins.. meanwhile the financials of the organization remains as murky as ever.

It has been extensively reported on the forum that there has been a marked increase in effort over the past two years by the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses to encourage an increase in monetary donations. Are Bethelites Buying and Preparing their own Food?
by TakeOffTheCrown insamuel herd made the following statement at the 2015 annual meeting regarding the reduction of services at bethel.. we will be reducing personnel at bethel.
some bethel family members will be invited to serve in the field.
in addition to their regular work, bethel family members will be caring for many of the services that were previously provided by fellow bethelites.. .
