Fate of Jehovah's Witnesses?
by Thoughtless init disheartens me the most when there is a possibility that faithful, hardworking, honest witnesses may be destroyed or be put out of god's favor.
a lot of brothers and sisters have risked their lives because they thought they were doing the right thing to please them.
so for those who still believe in god/afterlife, do you think that these witnesses are out of god's memory?

So for those who still believe in God/Afterlife, do you think that these Witnesses are out of God's memory? Do you still think they have a chance? I know by word and scripture only God knows, but I was just wondering about the collective insight from the people here.
How about people who have known TTATT do they still have a chance if they continue in this Organization? Or will they be annihilated too? Ignorance rewarded while knowledge is condemned?

Bought my first ticket a couple of weeks ago. Not a big deal, I just avoid doing it too much to avoid a possible addiction. Plus, something has to pay my tuition....

Instructions To Elders Re: Pursuing Higher Education
by baldeagle inunderlining is mine.. march 6, 2012 letter.
pursue divine education:some of our brothers are pursuing higher education, feeling that they can acquire a measure of financial security.
as you are aware, the educational system varies from country to country.

I never agreed with the concept of no higher education at all. I know because of my intellectualism, that my time here isn't very long, but if anything, by speaking down on higher education is demoralizing on brothers and is a source of discouragement. I agree with some points in this letter because of the fact that debt is a major factor and such, but I am in my late teens and I am going to college with no problem at all. I think that pioneers being punished for going towards higher education, or "marked" is shameful and shows an ulterior motive.

HOI cookiemaster.
I totally feel you. I have a position in the congregation and I go to college and it was a killer. I do not regret the decision of going either. I love it. Stay strong brother, and I wish you the best.

Prepare for meetings??
by Jen1 indo you prepare for meetings?
if i go i spend a few minutes underlinging my books/watchtower.. i have noticed that those who do the micks especially notice when your stuff is not underlined, and comments are made after the meeting, not so gentle hints, about study and preperation!
in other words i am being told off, its usually the ones who are highly critical of everything i do, sometimes their whole family seems to be straining to see if my stuff is underlined, i know this because i heard the daughter to family wisper her watchtower is not underlined!.

I don't anymore. I just highlight a bunch of sh*t and go my way. I was the most studious of my family and I just stopped because I lost faith. I am planning to do a resurgence of serious study from 2000 onward and print stuff out.

The murmuring phase is the beginning of an ex-JWs progression towards fading.
by Stand for Pure Worship ini suppose part of the fascination i have with this board is, the exotic nature of those making up the member population.
i say exotic because, as you yourselves will agree with, folks such as yourselves don't hang around the christian congregation for long upon making the decision that truth is not for you.
(rom 1:25) this "fading" thing spoken of here likely plays a role into why christians such as me find the average ex-jw to be a bit fascinating.

SFPW, would probably not tell an elder that he/she is on this website. If SFPW is not trolling, then he/she is ranking up a lot of hours here. I am not saying that your input shouldn't be allowed here btw SFPW, I do enjoy some of your input admittedly. But what annoys me is your perspective and how you take the moral high ground when you are breaking direction from the GB. You are no better than us.

I don't understand why a lot of you posters get so riled up when SFPW posts? I think that she/he is the BEST troll I have ever seen, and I do go on 4Chan quite a bit. SFPW disappoints Jehovah when ever she goes on this website really. The organization tells the members to STRAY away from apostate websites like it's the plague. Essentially, we are disease lepers cast way out side of Jerusalem, and SFPW is coming within our quarters to talk to us but risks contamination. Of course, I am appealing to his/her ego in this analogy by making her the one on the "high moral" ground, but my point stays the same. The fact that she is on this website doesn't make him/her better than any of us. Still breaking "Jehovah's" direction in secrecy.
