Are beards allowed yet for MS and Elders??

i remember a little over 15 years ago, one of my first jobs at a grocery store, the manager was happy that they passed a new policy allowing them to grow a beard.

previously they were not allowed.

among the usa, i guess beards were considered not very professional still.

so i ran into this brother whom ive known for a while and the conversation led into me being invited to come back to the kingdom hall.

we talked for about an hour during which time i explained to him 607 being the wrong date and a lot of other stuff including the child abuse cases in australia.

but what i wanted to relate was the last few minutes of our conversation.

Today's WT glancing at the opposite sex is flirting and therefore immortality

in today's wt study it makes the point that just glancing at the opposite sex is flirting and can lead to sex!.

so are jw's now to wear blinkers?.

also jw's are told to go and confess to the elders if they have any immoral thoughts?!!.

10 was, "why is flirting dangerous?".

Ok the gb dont actually write this shit up, but they do have to approve it for publishing. My point being.....they totally agree that chicks look hot at the meetings... Tight pants tony may think men look good in tight pants...and Sam herd just doesnt like women at all...unless they are cooking, or cleaning, and playin house.
