UPDATE !!!! ok so this girl calls the house phone and i pick up. She says hi , and so do i. She says she's calling to see how my pops is doing, i ask her to hold on so i can put pops on the phone......not before she asks me if i have caller ID, and to copy the number on my phone in case i would like to text or talk later.

Bethel layoff question

with the layoffs of bethelites and special pioneers, does anyone know if they get some sort of "redundancy" payout?

I work offshore on an oil platform......for many years we were payed a day rate. All that changed due to overtime laws in the US. Maybe some ex bethelites need to be talking to some tort lawers.

Just sayin.

since the liberal government has been elected in canada, it seems that people are looking to the future with a little more optimism and hope.

it is only human nature that with change, we would think that the change would be for the better.

the courts have ruled, in canada, that it is unconstitutional to deny the homeless the right to sleep in parks.

About 'Regular' Pioneers

now that district overseers have been deleted, now that bethelites are being devalued and increasingly dismissed, now that special pioneers are being deleted in u.s., and maybe elsewhere gradually.

who would have ever thought?.

yet, now what is the value to be a regular pioneer to the org?

A regular job takes at least 8 hours out of a persons day.....add that to meetings, and study, and field serve us, and well.........its not gonna add up anymore. The free ride is over, and well.....😲 ...minimum wage actually pays better. Thats puuuuurdeeee bad.😠
